SIXTH MEN OF THE YEAR DUEL

Nets need a feel good win. We’re notoriously known for competing well against the Clippers in LA and this is our first meeting against them WITHOUT Tobias Harris.
Clippers are starting Landry Shamet who is shooting 40% from 3 as a rookie and Zubac who has been very good after being thrown away by the Lakers.
The Clippers are sitting comfortably over Sacramento for the 8th seed in the West. The Nets have now lost ground in the 6th seed with a win today from Detroit against the Toronto.
Nets simply will need to push their way into locking up a playoff spot. Tonight, this is the relatively easy part of our schedule in terms of matchups.
The Clippers are a West coast version of the Nets and they are built to go 10 deep much like the Nets. They run PnR and have erased the mid range shot from the playbook. Their most consistent player is Lou Williams but they are capable of seven to ten men in double figures on a nightly basis. This is our kind of style and we should absolutely compete for the entire game. No excuses.
We are also possibly looking at a break with Portland unfortunately losing CJ McCollum to a knee injury. Get well, CJ.
These are the opportunities that we must take advantage of if we are to be considered a true playoff contender.
It starts tonight. - 6 LAC O/U.
