There's a suspicion of mine that the free agents to be part of the Knicks next season will work the numbers to have DeAndre Jordan on the team. The vet is young enough to affect the game and can keep the young Knicks focused on a level throughout the year.

This will free up the new players to focus on creating a high level of team play and DJ in everyone else's young ears.

The vet minimum will, in my estimation, go to Mudiay as the primary backup. Cannot see how DSJ will be here, while Kadeem Allen can provide a solid 5 minutes a game. Don't know.

The bottom line is that it was auspicious that the Knicks got DeAndre Jordan. Has all the check marks for being a valuable piece on the court and behind the scenes.
