Not sure I get the rational of signing Fredette. But he shoots 42% from 3 point line in China. Daniels is a FA. He might be cheap I guess for next year.

This might mean they run with Tyler and Jimmer - interesting.

Why?
Optimistic view: he's played well in China and deserves another shot.

Pessimistic view: it's a circus act to sell tickets to the LDS population in AS.

Could it be a low cost option next year for a shooter as the team will be tight against the cap if they keep Tyler. Maybe Dragan can be PF but if that’s the case, they need a true PG. I still would like PG and PF but will take just PG

I don't know much about Jimmer, but we could desperately use another good shooter/scorer right now if Tyler, TJ and Oubre continue to be out. Otherwise he can be end of bench. It's a 10 day contract if he even gets one. No big deal.

Hold up...Did I miss something that happened with Shabazz? Why is he out of the league?

Career Per 36:

Oubre: 15/6/2 42/32/78

Shabazz: 19/6/1 47/32/75

He was similar to Oubre on offense but on defense he was extremely awful.

Really that bad to be forced to head to china? I figured he would always be a decent bench plug and score kinda guy...

Yeah, like worse than Booker the last season he played much. Jamal Crawford level. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/year/2017/page/12/sort/DRPM

I know Oubre isn't exactly a good defender, but he's much better than that and at least comes up with steals and blocks to provide some spark to the team.

I think he had attitude problems as well if I recall correctly.

His college stats his last two years are pretty stellar. 25 points per game, shooting 42% from 3. Can't see why he isn't in the NBA when you got others like Seth Curry, Fred VanVleet, Jerryd Bayless, DJ Augustin, Austin Rivers, who are still here. Not saying he is better than those guys, but they are short(er) PG's who are more offensively oriented. Some of these guys are decent defensively like VanVleet, but Bayless shouldn't be in the league when he can't shoot 3's.

I don't mind the signing since all our guys are injured, but we can't expect much. Low risk, high reward possibility I guess.

Bulls/Wizards in OT.

Somewhat important for lotto standings. A Bulls win would be good for us so they stay further ahead of us. I'm pulling for us to win, but the more they win, if we can stay in that 3 spot, the odds are a bit better and we can't fall as far in the lotto drawing.

Another thing is, if the Wizards lose, they will stay worse than the Lakers who are right on their tails with only one more win...keeping the Lakers odds worse, and maybe the Wizards can catch other Western teams like the Pelicans, Mavs and Grizzlies. I'd rather these western teams get pushed further down and have worse odds.

So go Bulls!

Edit: Rockets/Grizzlies in OT as well...hopefully Grizz win that, and hopefully somehow the Mavs beat Portland, though that's definitely unlikely.

Crazy how bad the Rockets actually are. They got a shell of Chris Paul. The rest of their roster, besides James Harden are really bad. James Harden is really carrying that team, I don't see how they make it the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Yeah I'm watching the Rockets game. 4 seconds left with the Grizzlies up 3 and Justin Holiday fouls Harden on a 3, so they head to OT.

Dunn is having a good game with 12 assists and 2 turnovers. 24 points but not very good efficiency 10/24.
