Re: Knicks plan on exploring trade scenes for Frank Ntilikina
So how did Frank Ntilikina come up in an interview with the Donovan Mitchell? One contributed to the Knicks getting blown out tonight... the other is sitting on the bench unable to contribute in the Knicks getting blown out tonight. In what bizzarro world does Mitchell get asked about this kid?

We had a chance to take both Mitchell and Frank if we traded KP last year
Dallas pick would have net us the #9 spot back then

I, for one have been critical of Frank and stated his defense has seen some slippage. Therefore, I take offense to your use of the word "idiot".
Secondly, clearly Mitchell is going out of his way to be kind during a time when Frank is in a period of down-turn. He is having an awful season, currently still out longer than initially anticipated, and has lost a clearly defined role several times during his tenure here. With management effectively seeking options to replace him at his position multiple times over the past two years (Mudiay, Smith Jr., etc.)
Mitchell is one of his closest friends in the NBA, being from the same draft class. He even sat with Frank at the table on Draft Night. So of course he will speak highly and complimentary of his boy while he is in the midst of turmoil. Frank is a nice kid. People are going to be positive about him and his career outlook, especially if they like him personally.
Let's not forget Ramon Sessions once proclaimed he reminded him of Kyrie Irving offensively.
This isn't exactly Embiid co-signing Mitchell Robinson ON THE SPOT and IN THE MOMENT while having no connection to him.
What exactly is he supposed to say when prodded by reporters? "Yeah, Frank is my dude but he does kinda suck. I should have definitely been drafted before him. The Garden could have been my stage for 41 games a year if it weren't for Phil and some long ass arms".

Hopefully Garland lasts to 4th or 5th and the two PG offense we can see is Kyrie and Garland.
Send Frank & DSJr packing, hopefully following Bootiay out the door.
I don't think Garland and Kyrie will work that well defensively, but they can always bring Dotson & Kadeem in for the few moments a game Fiz is going to care about defense.

Just as long as you take Ramon Sessions for his word as well. You're welcome though.

It's why I value Frank, just not as a lead guard.

Re: Knicks plan on exploring trade scenes for Frank Ntilikina
Ramon Sessions compares Frank Ntilikina to young Kyrie Irving
Given Frank Ntilikina's projections as a rangy defensive specialist, nobody has attempted a comparison to Kyrie Irving… except his mentor-to-be Ramon Sessions.
"He's got a lot of Kyrie tendencies a little bit," Sessions said Wednesday. "He's not the most athletic guy but he can handle the ball in tight spots, can finish around the rim. It's still early on but he definitely gives me that Kyrie feel when Kyrie was a rookie."
Spoiler:
There. Now anyone who dares doubt Frank's offensive ability be deemed an "idiot". Why? Cuz Ramon Sessions endorsed Frank as a young Kyrie Irving offensively.

It certainly deems Ramon Sessions an idiot, that's for sure. But we sort of already knew that.

There was a time the majority couldn’t fathom Jeff not giving Frank a ton of minutes.

The Knicks will be dumb as hell to trade Frank, for that reason that’s exactly what the FO will do. If they were smart tho.. they’ll tell frank to focus on his defense and shooting 3s and plug him next to Kyrie and KD.. but whatever. I’m sick of everyone

Frank has disappointed me deeply as a point guard. I desperately wanted believe he was PG Kawhi/Giannis. But it's now becoming apparent he is in fact Thabo Sefalosha...and I don't know how to handle this.
