HA! The only thing missing from Evans' brother is NO COLLUSION!
What a moron. What does it say that Tyreke has not come out and said his brother does not represent his (Tyreke, that is) feelings?

Re: The Tyreke Evans Problem
Glancing over his stats again, it's pretty crazy how bad he has been for us (and with Nate giving him a lot of freedom honestly). He's shooting the worst of his career and he had some really disappointing years with the Pelicans. Also his worst ever free throw rate, assist rate, win share (.015 WS/48!), BPM, the only negative VORP, etc.
He actually played better for Sacramento after getting dumped there by NOP for 14 games 2 years ago. Crazy.
Monta never had a year this bad for us and was generally an alright vet during his tenure. Stuckey even played better...

Wonder if he was upset with Wes coming in and taking over the spot that he thought was gift-wrapped for him after Dipo's injury.
Oh well, can't win every FA signing. Tyreke never seemed to fit the culture here. He was also something of a second choice - I believe the money that went to him was initially offered to Reddick.

You may be closer to the truth than we know.

don't his brother's negative posts go back further than Wesley signing?Tom White wrote:winter_mute_13 wrote:Wonder if he was upset with Wes coming in and taking over the spot that he thought was gift-wrapped for him after Dipo's injury.

You may be right, I really don't remember. However, I'd bet the signing of Wes didn't set well in Tyreke's camp. Let me expand on that a bit. It doesn't mean that Evans has outwardly become a distraction or "bad egg" in the locker room. But he seems to be someone who might have trouble hiding their emotions. If he took the signing of Wes as a personal affront, it probably shows through. That wouldn't be good either. The best thing he could do for himself (whether he stays or goes) is to destroy his brother's twitter machine.

if he wants more shots, he needs to hit some. at this point Wesley has shown more on both offense and defense ... and leadership.

At least back to the one game suspension.
And Tyreke just doesnāt say much publicly so I doubt heād ever say anything about his brothers twitter. He has that mercenary vibe from having bounced around so much in high school, to one year in college to the nba. Heās just never really out down roots anywhere.

He just needs to go back to being a volume guy on a bad team. That is his fit.

I'm basically just glad this is coming at a point in the season where we can still get Holiday some time playing the NBA game before the playoffs start.

With the upcoming strength of the schedule, and the team certainly interested in maintaining a first round home court advantage, I wonder how much time we can expect Holiday to actually get. It may depend on foul trouble playing a role.

Yeah, unfortunately he's playing.
Was hoping he never put on a Pacers' jersey again.

surprisingly though, Tyreke did seem to benefit from extended minutes at the point. seems he needs the ball in his hands.

Agree there for sure. He is a lot like Lance was in that regard. If you let him have the ball in his hands, he will put up numbers. The problem is that it doesn't really fit in well with the Pacers' offense.

He and Lance are SOOOO similar in my opinion. Lance just made you laugh more.
