It's difficult to show improvement when all you're asked to is to constantly throw your body around vs multipe opponents at times. Grant's ineptitute to set proper screens (because let's face it: Body wise, he's a 3 and not even close to being a proper 4) forces Adams to do even more on that end. He's also the only guy constantly fighting players for offensive rebounds. And whereas Adams is supposed to defend both the 3pt line and the rim, Grant's only job is to provide help from the weak side. Adams is the body that lets Grant take his circus shots.
