Still only have about an hour or two in Division 2, but was getting absolutely dominated the first hour and a half. It wasn't until I unlocked my second ability and looted a shotgun that things changed. Now that they have, woah, Nelly. **** is really fun!

Sekiro is so good. Everyone go and pick it up, even if you're not a Soulsbornenioh vet. My advice: practice, practice, practice early on. There's an intro level where you've got about seven dudes to kill. They're easy, but let yourself be killed until you've mastered the techniques to kill them. A couple you can side swipe and brute force attack, a few others should be parried, and there's a mini-boss at the end that you could probably use a mixture of both. The once you're out of the intro there's basically a sparring partner. Use that dude some more until you have the timing down on your parries. All in all it took me about a half hour and maybe a dozen deaths. But it's worth it.

Did you play the 12h non stop :D ? Didnt buy the game yet even tho Iam a bigh big fan of the Dark Souls series. Good old days. Dying 20 times to the same boss. Raging and feeling the need to smash the controller

Playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 in Coop with some friends right now. If you guys like RPG games then I can absolutely recommend this game. The combat is very good and the quests are fine and often funny or sarcastic.
But what makes the game so special for me is the fact that you can play the games campaign with 3 friends in Coop. You can also download and play fan made campaign or stories. Absolutely fantastic.

I got my first Exalt Orb drop in PoE and I don't know what I should do with it.

Prices of exalts steadily rise, don't trade it so early in the season.

I traded my first exalt in Betrayal for around 75c the first week. Two weeks later it was worth around 165c.

I am not playing this league, I went really hard in Betrayal, I needed a POE break or I was going to burn myself out lol.

I've been playing Division 2 on PS4 pretty much exclusively since release, with no end in sight  .

I heard the current season mechanics are kind of weak, is that true?

Any hints for someone who didn't play the first and is getting handled pretty regularly? I die a few times on every major mission.

They're not great. It's a really cool concept, but it needs some heavy tweaking. They released notes for what they're revising and plan to patch next week, and it sounds promising. I'm pretty much just avoiding it until them.

The skill balances and new skills are great, though. Really excited to try a divine build.

The main things to keep in mind IMO:

1. Always stay in cover; you can hold down X to bounce from cover to cover, but you should never be standing up out in the open. You should almost never stand up out of cover; pop your head up to take some shots, but that's it. Also, if enemies are close up, don't be afraid to shoot WITHOUT peaking your head up. Blind fire from up close is pretty accurate and will protect you from being shot.

2. Don't get flanked or pinched. If you start getting surrounded from multiple directions, you're going to have to pick one and blow it open so that you can find cover again.

3. If you really need the help, the healing chem launcher and healing hive skills are both great for surviving. The healing chem launcher in particular is overpowered. You can basically heal yourself every 10 seconds with that thing.

Absolutely!

First, I'd recommend using the assault turret. When you are behind cover and you single tap your ability button, your character will place the turret on top of whatever object you're hiding behind. Your turret will take enemy aggro, and then you can pop up, get a kill, and get back in to cover. When you're using the turret, if you recall (hold ability button as your turret is out) your turret right before it expires, you get a shorter cooldown on it so you can use it again sooner.

Second ability you should use is the healing chem launcher. Single tapping the ability button will drop a healing circle at your character's feet. You get three charges. If you drop all three charges in succession, and then pop out from cover to get some kills, you're pretty much impossible to kill while the three healing circles are all simultaneously active.

In the game options, there's an option to make it so that your character moves around corners faster when you are in cover. Enable that. For some reason it is disabled by default which makes no sense, it makes your character move like he's in wet concrete while you're moving around in cover.

I was having some trouble aiming on console at first and I could not land consistent headshots to save my life, so I turned the deadzone up on my right joystick to like 12 or 15 (I can't remember). Made the game feel so much better, it was crazy. Give it a try.

When approaching a pack of enemies for the first time, always throw a grenade to open the encounter. They are ridiculously strong in this game.

Look for the side missions that give the blueprints for the extended magazines, they are amazing. The extended magazine for the Police M4 for example, can get you up to 72 shots for an AR, which is insane.

You can shoot grenades out of the air when they are being thrown at you.

You can alter the UI on PS4. I kept my map on the left side of the screen, but I moved it down a lot lower, and enlarged it. Makes it easier to keep track of surrounding enemies and threats.

The best guns I've used so far.. (haven't tried many of the rifles, snipers, or shotguns)

Started playing Apex Legends. I like it a lot more than the other battle royals stuff and it’s free to play model seems very fair. I really liked Titanfall 2, so I’m hoping that they eventually add wall running and maybe, on a larger map, Titans.

Other than that, I’d like to check out some new stuff but I just haven’t had gaming time. I think I need to go complete Valkyria Chronicles 4 and Banner Saga 3 before I can consider something like Sekiro. I could also go for a classic CRPG pseudo-D&D game, maybe finally commit to playing Divinity Original Sin 2.

Started Sekiro this morning. Got out of the castle and then faced that first boss and figured I would have to beat him to have the story progress. Got killed pretty quickly and thought "here we go again, I suck at these games." Is it possible to take that guy down and does the story progress differently?

There's a video on IGN of someone beating him. Then you die anyways. (Hopefully not a spoiler - sorry).

Anyway, my next PoE character might have to use soul rend. There's a skin for the skill effect...KITTIES!

Amazing. Although a little way into the battle I had the thought that I could beat him too. I got in some good damage. But I knew going in what was supposed to happen so I didn't really care all that much.

But yea, I could see people breezing through the quick intro level a few times just to get to the fight and finish him off.

^^ That's pretty normal for a FromSoft game with the unbeatable (but actually beatable) boss. They had that in Demon's Souls as well as Bloodborne.

While farming for a tabula I got a second exalt, so I'm sitting pretty rn considering I haven't even gotten to endgame yet.

God, I played syndicate for probably 80 hours and I think my best drop was a unique I sold for 4c. The RNG is on my side this league.

Winter Orb is stupid powerful. It's so satisfying running through mobs and watching them melt.

Both of your tips helped a ton thanks, although I've yet to successfully shot a nade out of the air haha. The other thing that really helped was figuring out what medkit was (V on PC).

This game is great. I like doing a little bit of everything. Run to a main mission but on the way do some control points, side quests or whatever I'm feeling. The music during the boss battles is awesome too, it gets me super hyped and I feel like I'm strategically mowing guys down in different ways. I have the turret and the seeker mine and will usually start the smaller battles with the seeker as it refreshes quicker, then large battles will get the turret. Really helps keep me alive. I can see myself playing this one for a while I'm pleasantly surprised.

Sekiro:

Spoiler:
So I finally killed the chained up Ogre and then the mini boss in the next area. Then I start dropping down the map, going ledge to ledge, only to stumble upon a giant **** snake (snakes are one of my biggest fears IRL). I try and creep past the snake for like 15 minutes only for it to notice me, when I think I've almost gotten past it, and kill me in one swipe. God damn this game but it is satisfying when I'm making progress.
