Humanities only hope is an Italian guy on the next draft named Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. Rumour has it Boston knew this all along and FO is just putting all the pieces together.

The media pundits and fans of other teams are so eager to get Kyrie off this team. I wonder if Kyrie doesn't factor that into his decision at the end of the year. Sure he could resign because we trade for AD giving us legit title hopes. He could resign because his father loved his time in Boston. He could resign because he still believes in Wyc, Danny and Brad as franchise leaders. He could resign because he's never had a better season statistically and showed people that he could be a complete lead guard. But..he could just resign to shut all these people up that assume that he's gonna duck and run. Shut up all these people that assume he can't lead a team to a title. Shut up all these people that assume he wants the bright lights of NYC. Shut up all these people that assume Boston is better without him. He could do it for those reasons too.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

This thread title just irks the hell out of me and it's stayed right at the top of the board. Kyrie "bleeds green". Based on what?

Should be "the Kyrie support thread - hey, at least he mostly seems indifferent"

I dunno, I mean obviously I know nothing, but if you gave me a 100 bucks and the season ended right now, then told me I had to bet on whether Irving leaves or not, I'd be he leaves for sure.

Hope the playoffs change something.
Good assessment:

Only way Irving considers staying is if they make it to the finals which at this point is mission impossible.

I mean look at from Irving's point of view. Play with these underachievers and a bunch of players that only care are about getting theirs or play with KD in NY? Pretty obvious choice here.

Its not great but it is what it is. I think next year will be fine either he is gone or he is the 2nd best player on the team and his hero ball will be only a couple possessions which seems to work out much better. He is as good an iso player as anyone for 1 possession.

Kyrie with the ball in his hands at the end of a playoff game... I’ll take my chances.

Love you guys so much, thanks everyone (got me with that gif Roddy, haha). I hate my birthdays normally (hadn't celebrated it at all in three years) but this year I took everyone out to the fanciest restaurant in Philly on me and had a great night, stuff like that makes me happy.

Whoa, seriously? Did you know I love the Sugarcubes or is it just a happy coincidence? Pretty sure I've never discussed them on here. I love Bjork too but those three albums are classic as ****. Thanks for making this birthday/birthday month even better than it's been, that song puts a huge smile on my face.

Sometimes it feels like whenever things are going really well in my life, the Celtics suck and vice versa. I almost wish I could be more upset with the team than I am right now  . Almost.

Unfortunately we're probably already down by 10 at that point because he plays no defense.

Haha, no, I don't believe we have. It was the first song I thought of and usually do around birthdays. They were/are a great band. I had the privilege to see them at Great Woods (I don't know what the **** it's called now) back in in 1989 with Public Image LTD and New Order. What a show. And I just looked, and it was July 10, which is my son's birthday, although not until 2013, haha. I can't believe it was 30 years ago :o Here are the setlists, one of the reasons I love the interweb, it acts like a memory for me. Glad I could add a little to your Birthday month.

**** legendary, my god. Jealous as ****.

I saw Peter Hook play New Order songs with the Pumpkins and Courtney Love last summer and it was amazing. Linked one of their best songs a few days ago in the Arts thread to no comment, smh, lol. Public Image LTD is so **** good as well (**** the Sex Pistols though). Bjork live was a very memorable concert.

I should default to that song. I usually just go with the White Album "Birthday".

On topic:

Kyrie probably defaults to this ;):
