3/6 -- 3 points in 14 minutes on 2 shots, no FTAs. 2 rebounds.
3/8 -- 7 points in 16 minutes on 5 shots 3 FTAs, with & 5 boards 2 assists 1 steal.

So that's 21 points on 11 shots & 7 FTAs for a TS% of .746. 9 rebounds. 7 assists. 2 steals.

Since then, he's played next to no minutes. What gives?

I thought he was out with a sore back just last week, it's possible they're just holding him out.

Yes, he's had a sore back.

It's probably a blessing in disguise. As long as he doesn't play much, the league will still think of him as a bust who ended up being a throw-in in a salary dump deal. I'd love to resign him on a long-term deal at the vet minimum.

Praying that other GMs GM like EGgo GMs.

This site was once a great place to talk hoops and follow the Wizards. Game threads were regularly 20, 30, 40 pages of posts from some great fans, many of whom also bought tickets to games, etc... Heck, people used to post FROM their seats at games!

Now, a game thread is lucky to break 3 pages of comments. Pathetic.

Why? Because this team sucks. And I'm not even talking about the players.

It's the management. Or, should I say, mis-management? Yes, that's it.

I feel sorry for the fans. Being terrible year after year should not be acceptable. But for the Wizards, it seems to be. I really don't understand it. After so long, futility just becomes boring and people move on to other things.

We'll see the 30-40 page game threads next season with the influx of Zion fans.

I don't think there's such a thing as a multi-year vet minimum contract -- but you probably just mean an inexpensive deal.

Me too, but I worry about you seeming to concentrate so heavily on low money for him. Not that you or I are making the decisions! :) But I'm worried that they'll value him too little & lose him to another team. Just the kind of guy we need -- at $4m he'd be way out-producing what he costs!
