Seems like it. Just another way of wording it.

Major League Baseball will rename the disabled list as the "injured list," a source familiar with the plan told ESPN.

The league will make the change out of concern that the term "disabled" for injured players falsely conflates disabilities with injuries and an inability to participate in sports.

Loved the Bo Bichette chants last night in Montreal. People are raving about this kid. I can't wait to see him in a Jays uniform later this season. Hopefully he stays healthy.

Everything they say is true, and the biggest factor is that the team sucks. But also... who wants to take a day off work to go watch the Jays face the Tigers?! At least last year it was the Yankees, and there was a slight chance of us being competitive. Not to mention the hype coming off the Montreal series with Vlad capping things with a walkoff (though I'm sure it was sold-out before that). The excitement level right now is at a zero for many reasons.

Who the heck determines start times?

Is it an early game because the Leafs play later that night?

True, but if they weren't we would never have a competitive team because Rogers wouldn't pony up a top 10 payroll if they were selling out games with scrub teams for half the money.

It's opening day so MLB wants to spread out the start times to let people watch multiple games. Same thing they do during the playoffs. MLB wants everybody in North America to tune into the Red Sox vs Mariners in prime time (the only game start starts after 4PM). The Jays often get the shaft when they do this, but it's not just us. Scherzer vs DeGrom gets a 1PM start time tomorrow!! I'd probably take the day off work for that.

Will he be exposed to waivers if he's demoted after Opening Day?

I believe he needs to be offered back to KC if he doesn't stay on 25 man roster for Jays... same as with Romano for Texas being offered back to Jays for being taken in Rule 5 draft

Would KC have to put him on their 25-man roster or can they just stash him back in the minors?
