Instead of derailing the thread and posting your non sense. If I'm not saying what is true why are his field goal attempt down 5 a game since being traded to Toronto and assists down 1 a game as well. Cannot wait till tonight game to prove my point

Cause he's not the number 1 option anymore. Smart guy.

I was about to type this ! I mean ... how low of a basketball IQ do you have to have to not know that answer to that question .. I’m embarrassed for the dude!

Odd that people can't just admit that regardless of jv, gasol is on the decline and doesn't make us better. I said it from the time the trade was made, it only makes sense if we followed it up aggressively to acquire shooters, but instead we surrounded him with mccaw, Powell, OG... Failed trade on so many levels. At least we still have the saviour fvv.

Casuals :banghead: :roll:

Every garbage statement you’ve just made has been addressed and explained by fans more knowledgeable than you in countless threads ...

Gasol is surrounded by Green/Lowry/Kawhi/Siakam... which one of these guys isn’t a scary threat from 3?
Sit n enjoy the games ... you don’t have the intelligence to properly access what’s going on .. just enjoy the games bro

He always looks for that extra pass and tries to make a nice pass to ry and look good. What happens every time? The player receiving the pass gets the ball and forces up a shot They miss every time. He's so focused on looking to make a nice pass than taking an actual shot. Has anyone else caught on? His extra pass actually screws everyone rythym

Let's hope so, but I can almost guarantee in a crucial situation this guy is gonna let a more physical & aggressive, much shorter player grab an offensive rebound off of him. I've seen it too many times with Gasol and you're screaming at your TV when it happens.

His passing game is legit though but too many times he forces the pass rather than force his own offense. Sometimes he needs to get more aggressive and look for his own shot too.

These stats are really more meaningful when compared to the player's FG% for the year before Gasol was acquired. These are the changes (I rounded):

Kawhi = +10%
Pascal = +7%
Lowry = +17%
Danny = +13%
Norm = +7%

I think the best part is how they are shooting the 3 off passes from Gasol:

Kawhi = 66.7% (+29.6%; 9 3PA))
Pascal = 37.5% (+4.2%; 8 3PA)
Lowry = 62.5% (+30.0%; 16 3PA)
Danny = 57.1% (+15.5%; 14 3PA)
Norm = 54.5% (+13.7%; 11 3PA)

Sooooooo... zero response when actual facts n stats are shown to you? ... just the ol’ “you’ll see, you’ll all see” then when one dude misses a shot, you’ll pounce all over it ... bro ... EVEN IF EVERY PLAYER MISSES EVERY SHOT tonight from gasol ... what is your response to the ACTUAL STATS PRESENTED TO you !!! ???

Overthinking it. Aren't we bombing 3s since the Gasol trade?
