Post#1 » by humanrefutation » Thu Mar 21, 2019 7:41 pm

As we did in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, we're coming back for our annual opportunity to predict some **** regarding the Brewers and the MLB.

The winner will get a souvenir stripper pole from Art's Performing Center before it's taken over by one of those corporatized chain strip clubs, courtesy of MD. Pole grease not included.

Check the poll up top, which will get the board's sense on where the Brewers will finish. Then, answer the following questions.

If Moose wasn't on the roster Keston would be my choice for ROY. But I think he spends one more year in the minors.

Brewers Predictions
Record: 92-70
Place In Divisional Standings: 2nd
Playoffs (Y/N): Y Wild Card
MVP Hitter: Yelich
MVP Pitcher: Hader
Most Pleasant Surprise (Position/Pitcher): Arcia and Grandal/Burnes
Biggest Disappointment (Position/Pitcher): Aguilar/Jeffress
Are We Sellers or Buyers at the Deadline: Buyers

I'm taking the boys to finish 2nd because I have concerns with the health of the pitching staff and the division is loaded. Arcia is still young and I think a great candidate to surprise, while I think Jeffress could have the wheels come off again after the playoffs and now the shoulder issue. I am also skeptical that Aguilar compiles the same kind of numbers he had last year. I am also very high on the impact that Grandal is going to have and I am thinking a good OBP with 23-28 HR while doing a good job handling the staff. I would choose him as my only pleasant surprise, but everyone already expects him to be pretty good.

MLB Predictions
AL Playoff Teams: Red Sox, Astros, Indians, Yankees, Twins
NL Playoff Teams: Braves, Cubs, Dodgers, Brewers, Nationals
NLCS: Cubs over Braves
ALCS: Red Sox over Astros
World Series: Red Sox over Cubs
AL MVP: Mookie Betts
NL MVP: Christian Yelich
AL Cy Young: Chris Sale
NL Cy Young: Max Scherzer
AL Rookie of the Year: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
NL Rookie of the Year: Victor Robles

Brewers finish 90-72.

Where that leads or if that makes the playoffs, no idea.
