Nobody watches Booker and the Suns games, yet everyone has an opinion about Booker.

Especially last night when people claim he wasn't trying to get teammates involved. His teammates weren't trying to get themselves involved. They didn't even try to shoot most possessions. He can't force them to be more aggressive. If they aren't willing to score, he's gotta step up or that's a 60 point loss.

Saw that pass live. It was ridiculous.
Double teamed, running the wrong way and he hit Mikal in the pocket. Watch Mikal's feet... he doesn't have to adjust at all!

Booker is the ultimate RELENTLESS SCORER.
He is gonna be a Top 10 scorer in the league every season for the next decade, I am pretty sure about it.

In the final 4 games of the season Booker needs 117 points (29.3 per game) and 37 assists (9.3 per game) to average 27 and 7 for the season. That would be cool.

Pretty elite list if he does it.

Re: Booker updates and news
Saw something on Instagram that Lillard is the 2nd player this season (Harden 1st) and 1st for the Blazers history to score 2000 points and 500 assists for the entire season. So I took a look at Bookers stats and noticed if he had played an additional 11 games this season currently averaging what he’s averaging he would have eclipsed those numbers too and very likely been the first Suns player to ever do that. Too bad he always missing games.

I mean, it's easy to be clever now, but my philosophy in the NBA has always been: when there are only 4-5 games left in the season and your team is playing for nothing, give a damn rest to the starters. You just ain't gonna move up.
Utilize bench players, sign some 10-day contract guys, call 2-way players ... it's just a damn garbage time. G-A-R-B-A-G-E time!
It looked ugly, but I hope dBook will be fine.

Re: Booker updates and news
Well ****..I'm going to the game Friday. Only was going to see Booker with Ayton and Oubre out.
But it's the smart decision. We need Book, Aton, TJ, Oubre healthy for next year AND we may as well tank out the season to keep the #2 slot (it limits how far we can fall in the draft even though 1,2,3 all have the same odds).
I guess I'll get drunk and watch Josh Jackson make turnover after turnover and then yell: "That wasn't my fault!"

Great for the Suns. Without that inefficient chucker they may finally start winning games!

Looks like the kind of injury that would keep him out a week or two. That's about 8 games. If this happened another time in the middle of the season, he'd be close to last seasons mid-50's games played. It's not good when our two vets (along with TJ) are missing 30-40 games a season.....

Yeah what the **** happened to Warren, a sprained ankle keeps him out over two months? Wonder if they're going to announce surgery for him in the summer.

This was back around mid-Jan. It's been over 2 months since his last game. Ankle bone bruise for over 2mths hmmmmm. I'm not a doctor but I can't recall a bone bruise injury that keeps you out for 2 months

Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren to miss 2-3 weeks with ankle injury
The Phoenix Suns will have to suffer through another injury to a productive player.
Forward T.J. Warren will be out two-to-three weeks after exiting the game Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a sore ankle, head coach Igor Kokoskov said Thursday.
“We’re going to really shut him down,” Kokoskov said. “That bone bruise is going to require some time off. He won’t do any basketball activities.”
Warren is averaging 18 points and four rebounds per game this season, shooting 48.6 percent from the field, but he’s been a revelation behind the 3-point line.
Coming into the year, he had only made 79 in his career — this season, he’s already made 77 at a 42.8 percent clip.
His production has been vital for the team, particularly when injuries cost Devin Booker a handful of games throughout the year and centers Deandre Ayton and Richaun Holmes, who have both missed the last two outings.
Warren will miss a “couple weeks for sure,” Kokoskov said, estimating two-to-three.
“TJ’s not even in part of the plans of coming anytime soon,” he said.

Hmmmmm......Weird....I smell a draft day trade coming with Warren most likely involved. And they're keeping him out to not possibly diminish his value prior to the trade???
Question is what type of trade, and with what team makes the most sense??? Ideas anyone?

I heard that it was a similar bruise to the one Robert Covington had to his knee that kept him out a long time...not sure if he ever came back either.
Covington (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets.
Covington will now have missed 33 straight games with a bone bruise in his right knee. He remains without a clear timetable and it seems unlikely the Timberwolves will bother bringing him back before season's end.

Of course not! Just ask on GB, everybody will tell you Booker is a statspadder who can't win games.
