DONATED MONEY: $3,025

so one portland fan came up with the idea to make a billboard for nurk to show him how much rip city loves and appreciates him (cause he really loves pdx and our organization, plays hard and with passion, teammates and coaching staff have nothing but the best to say for him) and people can contribute by donating money on the link i posted

i really wish this happens, so thats the reason im posting this on general board, where non portland fans can see it and maybe help by donating some money... hopefully mods allow this thread, but thanks in advance for those who will donate!

this is an amazing gesture by the best fans in the league, i really hope that billboard goes up

Awesome. I hope this happens. It is both good for our image around the league and feels like the right thing to do. I really want the Blazers to be modeled after the Spurs, such that there is a respect and loyalty to the players.

Yep, they said the billboard would be as close to the Moda Center as possible and they pulled it off. It is about 0.1 miles from Moda Center at Northeast Weidler St. and Victoria Ave.
