How about Tre Boston to pair with Amos if they're looking for another safety?

I'd love it but I don't see the money being there.

I'm not that high on Boston personally. He did have a pretty good year last year, but I have doubts about him replicating that and at the money he'll probably get. I'd take him but only on a cheap deal, which I don't think he'll get.

Take a flier on Berry. Low risk high reward type of move. Don't really see a big reason not to sign him to a one year deal. Unless the interest is greater than is being reported. He is HOF talent when healthy.

At this point there's not much rush to sign anyone. See how the draft falls and possibly look for cheap one year stop gaps after

Packers @ Bears to open the season. Not a shock because it’s been rumored for a while but now official.

I really like the DL prospects in this draft. Oliver is my favorite but Willing or Tillery are both good as well. Really hoping for Oliver though think he can be what we hoped Wilkerson would be last year.

"I tell people that it honestly felt like my testicles twisted," Allison said, pausing for a moment to let that sink in.

"That was the feeling that I felt. The trainers came over to me and checked on me and those were the words out of my mouth: I feel like my testicles twisted."

What really happened, Allison found out later, was he that he "basically tore my adductor [muscles] from my pelvis."

The Packers have just signed Brett Farve to serve as both backup and mentor for Aaron Rogers this season.

It's such a joke that Cobb only attempted two passes while he was here.

Even if you are going to make the argument "why take the ball out of Rodgers' hands?", they should've installed some Wildcat when Aaron went down in '17.

Just the occasional Cobb attempted pass would have helped keep defenses more honest.

Yeah, the under utilization of Cobb is easily one of the top 5 things MM messed up during his tenure.

https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2019/04/03/mike-mccarthy-firing-couldnt-have-been-handled-any-worse/3348963002/

"If we missed the playoffs, I expected change might happen," McCarthy said. "But the timing surprised me. Actually it stunned me. It couldn't have been handled any worse. But time provides the opportunity for reflection and clarity and that's where I'm at now. And it's clear to me now that both sides needed a change."

"When you throw out words like complacency and accountability, that bothered me," McCarthy told ESPN. "That's not accurate. I'll be first to say that coaches are in the business of being criticized. We deal with it on a daily basis. But when you throw out a statement like that, you better have it right.

"A big part of the success I've had in this league is due to a tireless work ethic. All coaches work hard, but the accountability comment was totally inaccurate. I held my coaches and players accountable every year. Our internal fine process would support that. All I know is I did my job every day and was accountable to winning in line with the standards and the values of the Green Bay Packers that were established by the likes of Ted Thompson and clearly Bob Harlan a long time ago."

"Everything was fine. It wasn't anything I did"
