I'm worried about the bullpen with the injuries to Knebel & Jeffress, otherwise I actually think our rotation is going to be a strength for us this year.

Agree. We just need to stay above water for the first month. Jeffress should be back after that...but the schedule is BRUTAL for the first month.

I hate to say it but I think the Cards are a better team this year. That's not to say we're far behind or can't Stearns our way into winning the division, but the Cards bullpen is filthy. Miller, Reyes, C-Mart (when he returns), Hicks. Yikes.

I'll be starting Mikolas in a fantasy league so expect our offense to be on point today.

Serious injuries? How long are they out for?

Will only be able to catch the first few innings today, but so happy opening day is here. Go Crew!

I'll probably miss the bulk of this one because of work, but I'll check in now and then and then skim through it when I hit up my DVR after work.

Jeffress could be back in a month, Knebel might be done for the year (possible TJ surgery).

I've changed the title. We'll make this the opening series thread
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Opening day plus Bucks game tonight plus 4 potentially good college games. Love it.

Can't believe it's opening day. It's going to be weird adjusting for "normal" baseball after the stretch run and playoffs last with our heavy bullpen use.

For free? The Brewers released a bunch more tickets yesterday that are still on sale if not but it's a bit too late for you. :D

Yup, for free. Nice corporate seats too.

I looked into getting tickets yesterday but they were a little pricy for where I wanted to sit. But hell yea I would have drove down and gone for free.

Looked at the Brewers schedule for the first time and wow is April a brutal stretch of games. Feels like just surviving around .500 would be a win.

Well that's extremely depressing! Dear God - this city's teams can never catch a break with the **** injuries!
