Yea KFS is not critical of the Knicks at all. They always try to say positive things about the front office or coach, because they probably don't want to get shut out like the Daily News, or maybe some of them are looking to be hired by MSG or something. At first they gave valuable information. Now it's all kiss ass fluff stuff.

He looks like a deer in the headlights just answering the question "what can you do better on offense". As he answers the question he stares at the action beyond the reporters and shows no interest in the interview. The mere word "offense" bores him.

He just comes off like a guy who has no answers regarding issues only he can solve. When asked why he thinks it could work out with him and DSJr could as a back court duo, his response is basically:

"I just think we could work out together. Off the court we help each other a lot, we see each other a lot, we have the same vision of basketball."

WTF kind of answer is that when you have serious deficiencies that prevent you from overtaking the most basic of guards on the team? Like people have said, Kadeem Allen and Ron Baker are better options right now at the PG spot.

With all due respect to KFS, fck KFS. Instead of critiquing our coaching staff for failing to develop and coach Frank from the beginning, they want to allege that Frank is not worth his contract going forward? Are these the same clowns who wanted to rebuild through the draft like the Sixers?

Frank is not even 21 yet. :noway:

Such bull. The medical staff had him trying to play through soreness on a groin strain that had kept him out for, idk, 8 weeks? What the actual **** is that all about? Come on. You. Cannot. Be Serious.

i'm sure frank wanted to play. was worth a test if there was no structural damage. test failed. he's done.

Listen to the interview. He was clearly **** up before the second game. Doesn't matter what the kid wanted to do.

i don't think what we are saying are mutually exclusive concepts.

if there was no structural damage, then the only way you know you can play... is to play and evaluate in an iterative process.

2 years is too soon imo for most young players, but if a decent return in a deal came back, I wouldn't be opposed.

He's a good defender in certain situations, and that's it. He has no game at all on offense worth investing in. Even if his defense was uber elite, he'd still be a role player. That type of player isn't truly invested in.

I really like Kadeem Allen, so let me get that out of the way but that is independent of Frank who I still believe has so much upside it's sick. But he's only 20 and he's got all these mics in his face forcing him to confront pointed questions about the one glaring weakness in his game which has, rightly, drawn a lot of attention. Clearly, whatever confidence Frank came into the season with, Fizzle destroyed it. That's the one thing that should not have happened this season. I blame flat.

So apparently Frank is too good for Vegas Summer League

Fizdale said his three rookies — Mitchell Robinson, Allonzo Trier and Kevin Knox — each will play in July’s summer league in Las Vegas.

I have to admit, I am a huge Frank fan, but even I have gotten down on him. He truly looks lost out there on offense. Like he doesn't know what to do with the ball if he is not in pass mode, and that won't work in the NBA.

No matter where Frank ends up, considering he has posted historically bad offensive statistics for his first two seasons in the league, he needs to be at SL working on his game and his offensive aggressiveness.

Dude did not make it through SL two years straight. So it's not like he has accomplished things there and has nothing to prove.

Add in his sophomore season being cut short due to injury, he should be in SL for nothing less than the offensive reps.

I don't understand this decision.
