Another proud member of the 5-7k.

My favorite MLB teams were the expansion Expos and the early/mid 80’s Blue Jays. I watched plenty of losing, but that didn’t kill my enjoyment.

As others have already said, that's what we need to find out. You only find that out by giving them playing time in the bigs.

What? That’s what the minors are for? This is not a test run. This is the majors and our supposed youth are trash other than pillar. We rank last in defense. And doubling down on the youth movement with a gm who doesn’t care about defense is just prolonging this disaster.

Takes? I only see one take, repeated ad naseum. If it were a really interesting and informative take that would still be kind of annoying. But it's neither interesting nor informative. Nor sourced or.backed up nor productively accompanied by alternatives. C'est la vie I guess, some people just struggle to create content.

I think this will be a bounce back season for Sanchez. You don't have the best ERA in the American League (by starting pitchers) two seasons ago by pure luck or fluke. Injuries (finger problem.) have slowed down his growth and potential imo. Hopefully he stays healthy in 2019 and beyond.

He needs to harness his stuff and throw more strikes.. Doesn't matter how dominant you are when you struggle to go 6 innings most nights.

So far, this has been an interesting start. The team likely doesn't have enough offence to reach .500, but the pitching is the stuff that deadline trades are made of. Stroman, Shoe and Giles have thrown well enough to burnish good reputations if they can sustain their play through April/May. The Jays don't really need a closer of Giles' ability in a rebuilding year. Now let's see what Sanchez can do.

Give him a chance. Guy has only had one healthy season. I'm not expecting him to give us a complete game on every start. 7 or more innings would be excellent. Let's see what happens.

Um, completely. We were ranked last in defense and have possibly one of the worst front offices in baseball. They are a bunch of losers who don’t value defense.

This is a car crash of a rebuild with no meaningful prospects other than vlad and bo and not much else.

Yeah all the scouts who rank our system in the Top 5 got no clue what they're talking about.

The roof is leaking at the Rogers Centre and there are buckets on the field. #Bluejays and Tigers still scheduled for a 3:07 first pitch.

I still like him, it will come down to command again and if he can harness it along with staying healthy.

Seeing a lot of good defence out there so far this season.
