After the @Miami win, the Magic has been in control of their own destiny (as Orlando has the tie breaker).

So: just win and in.

Crucial win. We got 29 points from the bench players not named Ross and all of them were very efficient and played solid D, that was decisive. MCW's playmaking is really making a difference. Gordon came up huge when it matters. Ross took an amazing amount of horrible shots even by his standards but also got a rare 3 assists, decent efficiency and a great plus/minus, so he's forgiven, LOL.

Not true. Orlando has 39 losses. Miami has 38. If both teams won all their remaining games, Miami gets in. Orlando doesn't.

I must be one of the few that isn't worried about Ross' shot selection. He's made enough of them to warrant him doing it and he's also drawing a lot of defensive attention from it, which opens things up for other players. He's a great weapon off the bench.

I am worried becouse when his shot is off he is rarely trying to drive to the rim and just is shooting more and more difficult off balance shots. When you have one weapon you are easier to stop

Right but if he had all the weapons he wouldn't be an 11 million dollar 6th man on a lotto team.

His shot selection isn't good but he's made those shots all year.

He's not good at driving unless he has an open lane, so probably for the best he sticks to his jumpers. His shot selection is why he is able to get so hot and get fouled on a bunch of 3s, but it's also why he has 0-6 or 1-7 3pt nights. It's a mixed bag of highs and lows. The thing is if he took smarter shots he probably doesn't get hot. He shoots the same percentage on pullup and catch and shoot 3s... he's shooting those pullups with a lot of confidence. If he doesn't take those shots he might revert back to being useless like last season. He just needs to resist taking the deep curry type threes... he usually misses those. Also would be nice if he didn't force things when he's obviously cold... those are the games I'd like to see him take more conservative threes and go to his pullup midranger which he is good at. Could be worse... I don't really want to see MCW and Iwundu forcing up too many shots because Ross is hesitating...

Agree and if we resign him for little more than that i think its worth it especially with his chemistry. We just need to remember he has his limitations and its a win win
