Should people stick with wRC+ then or use both? Until the formula changes.

I'd ignore it. It needs an overhaul from scratch, not a few tweaks. The entire success of DRC+ in predicting the future or reliability describing current seasons is based on deception. It's really not good at anything. Should have been a big red flag that they left all the details inside a black box. I have a feeling that as this season unfolds, everybody will realize it's a hoax.

Really, though, D in baseball tends to be a bit different than in other sports. It isn't the Defensive Hitter, for example. The DP is a defensive play, I suppose, but it's also a double play. And that's without considering the universal stat: DNP.
