Jalen Brunson
Dirk's corpse
Devin Harris
Courtney Lee
Dorian Finney-Smith

It took 12 years, but this is by far the worst, most disappointing season in Oklahoma City Thunder history.

We clinched a playoff spot last night when the kings lost.

Shows how out of touch I've become with the NBA. I quit about a month ago. Haven't looked at the standings or watched a second of a Thunder game since February.

It’s like I keep saying, we can blame Russ, Donovan, Presti, schroder...it’s just hard to care at this point. It’s time for big changes.

George with that sweet +98.5 On/Off NetRtG today. +10.0 on, -88.5 off. Against the 3rd string team of the Mavs.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

At this point, I have a relationship with this team like a junkie has with a heroin. You always say just one more game and I'm done with this team, and you always come back for more. Even if you are sure you're going to be sick to the stomach.

Yep. Like 5 or 6 times. It was beyond great. So, you're probably right.

An almost 41 year old Dirk with 13 rebounds, and a game high plus/minus of +14. Wow.

Shows you how much they actually care playing with any kind of decent effort. Their modus operandi is basically the same in just about every game against the lesser oposition. Let's jerk around and relax for 45 minutes and we'll beat them in the last 3 minutes of the game. So far, using that type of mentality, their score is like 0-12, or something like that.

Schroeder probably the only honest Thunder player right now by saying he doesn't know what is going wrong :(

I really thought that 24-0 run against Indy was FINALLY the start of us getting back to pre-ASB form.

Instead, it's somehow just gotten worse since then.

Yeah this year was finally the breaking point. Gave up, started following other teams. It's the same story as every other season, it's not even interesting.

Yes i have. No one is blowing by this guy. And one thing i've noticed, anytime he's around, the opposing player either misses, makes a turnover, throws a stupid pass, or something else he does not want to do. He has that kind of defensive effect.

I was a guard for 15 years, and these type of players, short and strong (not those skinny, athletic ones) were always a true nightmare. Burton is that kind of build. He has that special kind of low, static strength that you can't move or shake. Too bad Billy Donovan doesn't recognize that.

But it's fine if you think otherwise. We'll just play Ferguson ad nauseum. And loose to Dallas...

it's downright amazing 30 nba teams passed up on this absolute phenom and he had to play a whole season in korea. you're making all this up in your head.

They passed on him because was known as a guy with a poor work ethic. He's older now. He's proven that he can make huge contributions in the NBA in his limited playing time. I keep saying that we have Zion sitting on our bench and we wont play him. I'm not sure there's another guy in the NBA at his size who is heavier than Burton, and virtually all of it is muscle and bone. Mr skin and bones Ferguson though has had 76 games worth of chances and although he's been acceptable during the first half of the season, he's dropped off hard since then. It's time to see what Burton can give you.

The worst part is that except Roberson our team was healthy during all season (Westbrook missed some games and PG13 is a bit hurt but nothing really serious)

We still have a few games left to right the ship. Ideally we get GS in the first round. The team will be super motivated for GS and and our personnel is perfect against those guys. Once we beat them in 6 or 7 I think we'll have our groove back enough to make a run the rest of the way.

the turning point of the season is still the mysterious january 6th. top 10 defense of all time to that point, below league average since then. the offense has come and gone with our high variance shooting but the defense going into the tank to that degree and that suddenly is bizarre. they were a 5+ srs team on january 6. might drop below 3.0 soon. what a difference.

you need to persevere man. what are you going to do if they re-build? just not be a thunder fan anymore? i guess you're not from oak city so it makes a little bit more sense for you. but, jeez. losing can be character building.

lol...yeah this team is showing so much motivation and confidence. We just need Burton in order to beat Gs.

Agree..but accepting you are not always right (and not showing up only when it suits your point) can be character building as well.
