More 'childish' than 'troll' imho.

Edwards seems to be destined to be the bust all the eggsperts said Trae would be. Other than hero-bawl, what does he actually bring to the table?

Having an unpopular or contrarian opinion does not make one a troll. But I was just being irreverent of course.

He's a bucket getter. Sometimes you need those.

Gimme him over Hunter all day though. Hunter is a fringe 1st rounder in my eyes. Low ceiling, system player.

Hunter looked awful v. Purdue. He really is Otto Porter Jr. The inconsistency is nerve wrecking but he still made an impact on defense and off the ball on O but on the ball, pure rubbish

Neither Hunter or Culver are very exciting to me. Seem like NBA role players more than anything.

Jarrett Culver is the 3rd or 4th best player in this draft. I'm not sure Hunter is top 10.

Well, that's exactly what both players will be. I am just higher on Hunter because in the NBA, you know exactly what he is going to do. Defend 1-4, shoot open threes where he will be inconsistent at, and just play team basketball to a high degree. He will never be special and if you are looking for special, you might as well draft Reddish or Clarke. All of them will need time. Reddish might need the least as his fit is more seamless for us.

Culver isn't as good as Hunter.

I think it'll take a couple weeks in training camp for that to change for good though.

Could be. Personally, I'm against using high lottery picks on guys that are at best, 3-D role players at the next level. Culver, though maybe with a lower floor, is a perimeter plamaker, with a much higher upside. I'd rather take the chance on busting on a lottery pick in the top 5, if the player has a high upside, than taking a 3-D wing you can get with the MLE any given season.

Edwards supposedly has a 6'6" wingspan but he's probably modern Isaiah Thomas before the 2 superstar-ish years at the most with less playmaking.

Also, hold the phone on EVERYTHING I said about Reddish if it's true that he was playing hurt all year. It'd explain everything.

Saying or doing something just to get a rise out of people is the exact definition of trolling.

Paired with an oversized PG and alongside a 3 & D SF, this kid could wreak havoc off the bench.

Is this based off of production in college this year? If so, sure. I could get behind that somewhat. If we're talking full spectrum, then I disagree.

There's a few players that's better than Culver honestly. Zion, Morant, and Barrett all are for sure better prospects. If you knock Reddish for his lackluster year, then you still have to take into account for his high ceiling. Coby White is playing out of position. Put him at his natural 2 guard position, and he's probably standing out more. Darius Garland is not to be overlooked either even if he is a bit unproven, but I wouldn't blame you if you did since he was injured this season. Rui Hachimura has a better offensive game that can transition as a faceup 4 and possibly better defender. Rui even has much better athleticism to boot.

For me, Culver sits in that group of high end role players with Clarke, Hunter, Little, Hayes etc. He's probably the best of that group, but there's a small a chance he elevates beyond that. Culver has a lot to improve on if he wants to do that. He's a straight line driver, who's a jack of all trades without the athletic profile to make him better. Handles is shaky at best. It's kinda why he is a jack of all trades, master of none. Nothing wrong with having that guy, but I'm not spending a top 5 pick on him.

Craftiness can only take you so far in the NBA. You have to actually be great at something to be more than a role player. For comparison, Manu is probably the most craftiest player I have seen, without high end athleticism. Where he makes up for it, is by being probably one of the best slahers of his era, fantastic shooter, deceptiveness, and the ability to euro step like no other.

Texas Tech had a better prospect come out last year in Zhaire Smith, who was drafted late lottery last year as a freshman. Had Smith went back to school, he'd overshadow Culver, and we're probably not even talking about Culver in the top 10 period.

Redd looks spry and explains his inconsistency playing hurt.

Okay. I took longer than most, maybe all.

Zion's a top tier talent.

I'm won over now.

Get #1, you get him, and then figure out the rest.

He's not a SF, though. And I don't know what you do with Collins when he's on the floor, unless you think you'd try him at C.

Zion is a 5 on defense. On offense, he is clearly not a 5. You can really work him and Collins together
