I wish we could’ve celebrated this over a win. This has everything to do with Joe Tsai about to take full control of the team. Marks is next.

I think this is the first time I've seen the staff included in the headline for a coach extension. The guys are always giving the assistants like Ott credit. Glad to see them get recognition. Teams always run after the good assistants on good teams.

Love this... this is bigger then any offseason signing. Marks/Kenny will make us relevant for decades.

Congratulations to our leadership, they have worked diligently and intelligently to advance this franchise out of a pickless, hopeless NBA purgatory.

I would love to see us end the postseason drought this year, for our sake. But in terms of franchise building and free agency, it doesn't greatly matter. We've shown this season that we can compete at a high level, despite injuries and other limitations.

Sean Marks should win Executive of the Year.

This man started out with a capped out roster and no pick control for 3 years. He managed to make shrewd moves and landed an all star guard iN D'Angelo Russell, found Spencer Dinwiddie in the G League, and again, without LOTTERY picks, drafted Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, and Rodions Kurucs who have all vastly outperformed their draft position, and this does not take into account Musa who is waiting for his turn.

Couple all of this with the fact that the Nets have cap flexibility, TWO first round picks in the 2019 draft and multiple 2nds, and the now the playoffs. Marks has done a herculean task. Incredible.
