Our worst matchup vs GSW was Durant-Barton, but when refs ejected Durant Warriors already have 20+ lead
Our worst matchup vs Spurs is Popovic-Malone, but this time refs ejected Pop right in time, after just 2 minutes

Denver and San Antonio are two teams with the biggest difference in records at home and on the road this season (last season too!), so home team was a big favorite to win even before the start of the game, and when Spurs legendary coach makes history with quickies ejection in NBA ever early in the 1st quarter this game was already decided. But still, it is not another win which is best to see already on the halftime, but our trademark offense with much movements, assists, and points was back in this first half.

Why is Jokic still playing?

What do you mean? Malone sits out 20-11-9 Jokic 5 minutes before the end of the game, exactly on the time to once again prevent his triple-double.

OK, old Nuggets is back!
Great defense, 40+ assists, Jokic in TD mode, Murray as our established #2 with an all-around game this time, Morris and Beasley super-efficient from the bench scoring 19 pts both.

It was a very satisfying win. Best aspect was the energy. Energy, movement, hustle - those are the defining attributes of winning Nuggets. As an added bonus, Barton did not try to control the game. He made his reputation as a sixth man and I think maybe I'd love him coming off the bench. Turn him into a pure scorer.
I don't think our defense was great but there was indeed a lot of hustle on defense - that helps. Spurs also had an off night shooting, in my opinion.
I don't think our offense was great but again, there was a lot of hustle. Murray started the game with a nice cut to the basket and he had a few more, so did Harris. But our greatest offense is when there are many more of those cuts after passing to Jokic.
Did you notice we had 41 assists on 47 made field goals? That's extremely impressive.

Got lucky playing SA for 47 minutes without their biggest weapon (Pop). Shot better and had 47 baskets on 41 assists.

Am I counting right? Today's win would clinch division?
