Last summer I would never have imagined that Bender would not be the worst player starting.

So is our starting frontcourt Bender and Spalding? Who is the backup frontcourt? Julius Randle and Jahlil Okafor won't see much resistance I don't think.

They almost have to start Melton okobo Jackson Bridges and Bender just so you have a actual big in Spalding to bring off the bench.bwgood77 wrote:So is our starting frontcourt Bender and Spalding? Who is the backup frontcourt? Julius Randle and Jahlil Okafor won't see much resistance I don't think.

Well I'm not sure it's actually possible to have a worse pair so sure I'd say yes to that.Crives wrote:Will the Jimmer + Jamal Crawford quality as worst defensive backcourt we have ever played?

Re: Game 80: Phoenix Suns (18-61) vs. New Orleans Pelicans (32-47) - 10:00 PM ET
Watching for Okobo he hasn't had the best year but never really had that many chances...Just like tonight everyone's injured so he may look bad or he elevates his game. Id like to see him shoot a lot tonight. One thing about him ive noticed when he plays is he is to timid or reluctant to shoot and really wants to play Kokos system...Really hope he puts up a lot of shots tonight whether he has a good game or not. Will be good experience for him. Also remember when we drafted Okobo we knew he was transitioning from a SG to a PG he has the skill imo, some of his passes have been amazing. He just needs more time and confidence. Even if his role on this team is our back-up PG That's fine with me. Id keep him over Melton.
Also watching for Jimmer… Because why not?
Unfortunately JJ is going to get a lot of burn tonight and I think he is going to want to shoot every chance he gets. I mean maybe he has a good game? But im going to take a shot for every shot he misses at the rim.
Also just a side note ID like to see Bridges be more aggressive as well but not with the 3 ball... I want to see him drive to the paint more... Hes showed flashes of not just being a catch and shoot 3 point guy....
Cheers!
Heres to hoping JJ doesn't put me in the hospital!

It wouldn't surprise me if JJ scored 45 or went 4-45 tonight. Anything is possible.

Two fouls for Spalding... no Ayton and Holmes. Going to get ugly quick.

News alert 1: Dragan can guard Jahlil Okafor in the post, at least when the team plays solid help defense.
News alert 2: Josh Jackson can fly.

Alright, I am ready but I am not sure what I am about to watch. Fingers crossed that there will be a game within a game with some positives. Let's go lower case suns.

Spalding is getting feed more than Ayton. Good to see the hustle and passes.

He worth a look in camp as a back of the bench depth guy. Does some decent things out there.NE1Care wrote:Spalding is getting feed more than Ayton. Good to see the hustle and passes.

No Jimmer sightings in the first half. If there was ever a time to evaluate him this would be it.

Spalding playing well...nice efficiency. Bender with the Draymond-like stat line - 9,8,6,2 after 3.
