I'm not sure if the T-Wolves are actually trying, but we're off to an excellent early start.

This team is so damn frustrating. 6 minutes of great play and all off a sudden they stop doing what got them the lead.

T-Wolves can't miss jump shots + we gave them 3-4 open cuts to the rim
Luckily we are shooting well so far too.

And this "Tonight random guys will make some insane shots" thing is getting old. I'm sick and tired of seeing guys I've never heard of/who suck big time like Wiggins turn into Kevin Durant against us.

If Wiggins could play us 82 times a year, he'd actually spend his career exceeding the mega-hype surrounding him coming out of high school and college.

This is like getting killed by 58 yo Jamal Crawford.

I don't understand Wiggins. The dude sucks. He asn't even kinda sorta come close to living up to the hype.
But every time he plays us, he looks like the "can't miss prospect" he was billed as coming out of high school. It's so damn frustrating and it's the main reason we can't consistently beat the T-Wolves, even though they suck, because when they play us they actually do have two All-Star caliber players on the floor because it's one fo the few times throughout the season where Wiggins looks like an All-Star.
And Towns is just a nightmare matchup for Adams.

Since we went up 22-8, the Timberwolves have gone 13/18 from the field. And I daresay few of those attempts were given makes due to bad defense on our part.

Yeah, we had a chance to go up 26-12 but Russ missed a wide-open layup. That's the point of the game I keep going back to, but still...yeah, I agree. It's been a combination of some tough shot making by the Wolves (that flurry in the 1st quarter where Wiggins went Harden on us) and some really lazy defense since then.
We had a moment up 56-52 where we forced a miss, got the rebound, and made a lazy bounce pass up the court that Okogie intercepted and followed up with a highlight reel dunk. That was the start of an 8-2 Wolves run to give them their first lead of the game. Point is, we had the ball and had a chance to extend our lead back out to 6-7, but a lazy pass sparked another surge from the Wolves.

Also, we're shooting 11/24 from three and we're only up by two.
This is going to end with a loss and a season sweep at the hands of the lottery-Wolves.
In fact, I semi-expect the Wolves to win this one semi-comfortably going away once we cool off from three.

They have been way too trigger happy from 3, giving up attempts at the basket for a Dennis Schröder 3. Speaking of Schröder: Why the **** is he on the floor to close the 2nd quarter. I'm so sick and tired of this. Neither him nor Russ are going to give you anything defensively. And with Westbrook, George, Adams and Grant on the floor, Schröder is simply redudant offenisvely. This forcing of bad lineups because some weird vision management has is beyond frustrating. Just stop doing it.

Good god that was some extremely lazy transition defense. Adams and Ferguson right there and they just let KAT run right by them for a rim-run, slam dunk and-one.

Wolves 3/4 from three to start the half. Saric looking like Kyle Korver out there.

Re: 4/07 | G80: Oklahoma City Thunder at Minnesota Timberwolves - 3:30PM CST
What?!?! KAT barreled his way through two Thunder players to get that rebound and somehow the play ends with us being called for a foul and Saric hits another three to extend the Wolves lead to 6.
This one is over. 0-4 season against a lottery team is near completion.
