C'mon DAL ! get this win against MEM.
It would be good to end with both tied and reduce their odds.

Mavs fans are probably going nuts. No Luka and they just staged a mini 2 minute comeback to take it to overtime.

Never having to root for a Hawks tank season again, priceless!

Or to follow the Mavs as closely as I have this year... :banghead: :nonono:

I don't understand posts like this. We have no idea where Dallas is going to end up until the lottery, am I wrong? I mean, shouldn't we be rooting for the Wizards, Grizz, Pelicans to keep losing in order to place Dallas at 7 or 8 just to help the odds that they will not end up in the top 5?

Its all luck of the draw so don't stress out over last minute positioning. You'll see come lottery time how all that hard work for perfect positioning goes out the window.

All I'm saying is, people saying "we don't have to pay attention to Dallas next year" aren't being accurate until we ACTUALLY know what the final results (during the lottery) are.

It’s just for odds maximization, that simple

You know how the posters obsessed with tanking are. They don't understand that its a crap shoot from this point on. They continue to have the old mind set of worst record = higher pick. They will be in for a rude awakening once the lottery is over.

nah, most guy’s around here are smarter than that.
As Hawks fans they’ve been through quite a few lotteries. They know worst record =“ slightly better odds” of getting the dallas pick. They just want any advantage they can get.

I really just want the pick to come to us this year so we don’t have to care about the Mavs and Doncic.

Not really worried about Doncic. He is definitely overrated. Porzingos may never be healthy for an extended period of time. I think we will be fine if the pick doesn't convey this year

Night stain? Because I'm asking why you and other fans are saying we don't have to worry about Dallas now? Wow.
