I will probably watch when its available to be streamed but have zero expectations. The original was a classic and should be a standalone movie.

Still, when approached about starring in "Space Jam 2" with LeBron James, Antetokounmpo declined. Being in the film would have required him to give up two weeks of private workouts to train with his fellow stars while making the movie, a total non-starter, given Antetokounmpo's reclusive tendencies.

"I don't like being Hollywood," Antetokounmpo says. "I don't like all this extra drama. I am just going to try to be me."

How is this confirmed when they dont even have the cast yet? Something ain't right. I dont see this movie coming out anytime soon

No I will not watch, it will kill my childhood love of basketball. That last scene when MJ gets his named called in Chicago was storybook. LeBron won't have that.

IT is a definite in my book. Might be the only check he gets next year.

Jr Smith just for comedy purposes

You're not well versed in movie production, and that's fine, but there's nothing wrong with the current situation surrounding the movie that's being reported by the media.

I dont get the purpose of a movie with looney tunes today. Many people watching will probably be guys who watched OG spacejam as a kid and view MJ>Lebron and will just bag on Lebron.

I really can't imagine the story being good. I mean with the original it just made sense going along with MJs comeback to basketball in real life.

Lebron hasn't left Basketball. Is it supposed to be based on his decision on leaving Cleveland for the Lakers? Oh, they'll probably make up some story about Lebron considering quitting until Bugs and Daffey come along to convince him to stay after the big game against the reformed monstars. Whatever happened to the original Monstars anyway? At the end of the movie the Looney toons agreed to let them stay yet they never appear on any modern installments Lola has. I guess that false promise could be brought up in the new film but I doubt it would.

Clearly the plot is that LeBron is emotionally broken after getting swept by Golden State and he needs help so that he can rediscover his love for basketball.

Before he joins the monstars half way through the movie. Or are we not making these jokes anymore with KD taking the brunt?

The first one wasn't that good, and right now is probably the worst possible time to put out a movie starring LeBron James. The last few attempts to revive the Looney Tunes have flown under the radar as well. This has the makings of an all-time bomb - we're talking John Carter sized-bomb - written all over it. Will I see it? Not unless Shawn Bradley comes back.

Nope. I’ve never cared to see the first one either and that came out when I was a bigger nba fan back in high school.

Athletes acting badly is not something I want to see.

I’m even less inclined to see this one because it’s not even original. Lebron, get your own story instead of walking in MJ’s footsteps.
