So, if the Clippers lose against the Jazz, and we go 1-1 rest of the way, we still avoid GS in the first round, right?

Yes, but the Jazz will probably have no reason to win that game and presumably will rest players.
What will the Clippers want? The Clippers are not beating Denver but OKC might. Maybe the Clippers would prefer to lose to the Jazz and play the Warriors. Shorter flights.

I believe in that scenario you open in DEN in the playoffs....pick your poison.

Man your username is one of the best I've seen! I loved Gatling. I was a big fan of that Warriors team...

It helps me remember when I moved from Boston to Oakland. That was a very fun Warriors team. It hooked me into being a fan for decades of mostly losing basketball. No Run TMC but Surunas was great with Mullin and Hardaway.

I liked Gatling. He improved his game. The other 2 rookies Billy Owens and Victor Alexander never really got better than they were as rookies. So no contest as to which rookie from that team to remember.

Then there was the Webber led team revolt against Don Nelson. Webber and friends did not like Hardaway because Hardaway supported Nelson

Gatling was the only one of Webber, Sprewell and friends that did not seem like a knucklehead. Gatling became an All-star in Miami but looking at his post career legal problems it seem that Gatling also was a Kucklehead.

I guess Webber grew out of being a knucklehead but he was too young and full of himself at that age.

If the Thunder don't beat the Rockets tonight the Thunder are probably playing the Warriors in the first round.

Tim Hardaway was my favorite player growing up and that run tmc is still one of my favorite teams of all time. Too bad Timmy blew his knee in a training camp the summer they got Webber. That team would have been insane.

I didn't know about Webber - Hardaway rift...

See you guys in the Western conference finals after the Thunder beat the Blazers and Nuggets.

Edit, spoke too soon. It seems that the Blazers would rather play the Warriors in the 2nd round than play the Thunder in the 1st round.
The Blazers are resting players and may lose to the Kings.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
