Magic was definitely part of why Born came to LA. And the cap space was cleared up by magic/Pelinka too. Draft picks were solid also. Magic wasn't the best, but not the worst either.

Never seen an NBA executive with this level of arrogance, overconfidence and ego since Phil Jackson. Those two are in a different league as far as POBOs are concerned.
