I hope we go for that winning record tonight and darn it I want as high a seed as possible. I think we can give any of those top 3 seeds trouble and at least make them earn a series win and not be the typical low seed doormat. We’ve been on fire for months and I’m guessing of all the teams, were the ones those top seeds want to avoid.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

I want to see this but I also want to see Dwayne Casey to be the one to eliminate the Raptors.

Hornets loss? - Unlikely, but it would eliminate them from playoff contention and give them no real incentive to try and play hard vs the Magic tomorrow...
Heat win? - They can't catch us and if they remain in playoff contention it gives them an incentive to try and beat the Nets tomorrow...
Pistons win/loss? - Pistons have the season tiebreaker over us so if we both finished 41-41 and Nets win tomorrow (42-40), we slip to the 8th seed. If however the Heat beat the Nets tomorrow and all 3 teams happened to finish 41-41 we would get the 6th seed (division winner tiebreaker), but... if the Pistons win to get to 40-41 tonight they eliminate the Heat (pretty sure they own the 2 and 3 team tiebreakers that involve the Heat), which would give Miami little reason to beat the Nets tomorrow.

Safer to hope the Hornets have nothing to play for tomorrow, but the Heat do and can get up over the Nets, and we can finish outright 42-40 and 6th seed I think... (go Grizzlies, go Cavs, go Heat :blank: ) :dontknow:

I just want one more loss so I can at least pretend that we are in tank mode

Blake's knee is shot... they aren't beating the Raptors.

If we are trying to avoid the 7 seed, then we really want a Detroit win tonight to increase the probabilitiy of those scenarios (apologies to Hornets fans roaming our board tonight).

If the Pistons win and;
- Magic win & Nets lose = 6th seed
- Magic lose & Nets lose = 6th seed
- Magic lose & Nets win = 8th seed
- Magic win & Nets win = 7th seed

If the Pistons lose, theres no scenario where we can finish 8th, and we can only finish 6th if we win and the Nets lose.
