Salute to D'Wade

I want to thank Dwyane Wade for being the superstar and community advocate he is. He was drafted in 2003 in a strong draft class that included LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. In a class where LeBron James was going to win his first title in a couple of seasons. Wade did in three. He was the ultimate underdog for superstars at the time. I can't speak for Heat fans here. I was glad that Wade was the first of the three to win his first title because no one seen it coming. Yes, Wade had a 34 year old Shaq on the roster. However it was Wade who took the team on his back to get the Heat the championship title and collect himself a Finals MVP as a result. Wade would go on and win two more titles with Lebron James and Chris Bosh on his side. Regardless if LeBron James was on the Heat, ultimately it was Dwyane Wade's team as not only he was drafted to Miami first. He got them a NBA Finals championship. For your acolades on and off the court Dwyane Wade, I say thank you and enjoy your well earned retirement.
