His offensive skills can be described as raw at best. There doesn't appear to be anything fundamentally broken with his jump shot, so it may be just a matter of refining his fundamentals and developing his touch. His handles are basic -- there's definite room for improvement here.

The good thing is, he appears to be a coachable hard worker so there's reason to expect him to improve.
Sounds like Stanley Johnson

Yep but the difference being Stanley is in year 4 and Bruce is a rookie and much more likely to improve

Don't worry, Bruce is the newest thing. He'll be deemed trash by the end of next year when he's still not able to shoot.

Johnson had work ethic issues, he spent last summers playing dumb tournaments.

Bruce Brown is described as a willing worker, so the comparison doesn't look accurate.

We haven't really seen it too much, but Bruce Brown can play offense, he's just not really doing it at this time because that's not what the team is telling him to do. He's got a decent shot/good mechanics, he actually can finish around the rim, right now he's just happy to be on the team and actually playing in the NBA, but moving forward he will be able to contribute offensively an he has some PG type skills too which we haven't seen too much of.

Stanley Johnson's problem is he doesn't really have any skills, he left the Pistons as basically the same player he was that graduated from High School, I'm not sure work ethic had that much to do with his failure in the NBA as it was lack of any offensive skills.

Stanley Johnson wasn't very coachable while Bruce Brown appears to be. That combined with hard work can keep him in the league longer than Stanley IMO. Stanley will be a cheap reserve on a roster next year if he's lucky, while Bruce has the sense and work ethic to grow.
