Could Bam become more Nikola Jokic than Shawn Kemp? Has surprising vision for a guy his size. Not flashy passes per se, just the right ones.

Hope he’s watching a ton of Garnett tape this offseason. Those midrange J’s would mean so much.

Not even close to Jokic type vision but I hope he extends to the 3pt line like Nikola. Need it

Oh agree Bish, he ain’t on that level of passing gifts. Similar to Winnie though, make the right reads and you’ll get dimes for easy scores. He’s making good decisions as we run through him from the high post.

Would love to see him step confidently into a corner trey over the next few games. Would just be such an “ah ha” moment.

Mavs fan coming in peace. if the Mavs somehow were able to keep their pick this year, and it was anywhere from #2-4, would Miami consider trading Bam and the #15 for it?

I wouldn’t unless we were getting Zion.

Possibly for 2 or 3. Morant and Barrett have superstar ceilings and we need a player with a chance at that, plus a rookie contract buys us more time to add FA to the core before extensions. I'm less confident in the picks after that - nbadraft has Rui 4th and tankathon has him 17th. Tankathon has Culver 4th where nbadraft has him 11th. I don't have a confidence that the guy we pick 4th is better than Bam - someone may be, but making the right pick could be hard. And the guy Mavs get at 15 could be on same tier as 4th pick.

Bam could still be a superstar player, but I'd take the chance with 2 or 3 pick.

Yeah i can see that. I'd do that swap for Dallas as neither Morant or Barrett fit all that well with Luka, whereas I think Bam fits great with Porzingis, and we could draft BPA at 15.

He only shot 15 of them so his percentage is moot.

Yeah, but he's made 2 3s out of his last 4 attempts. That's progress.
