I think Washington's definitely out.
I don't trust the Magic enough.
Charlotte has Kemba so a toss up.

I'll say Miami gets the 8th spot.

I also believe Miami will get the 8th. Hornets have a shot as well.

Wizards and Magic are gonners.

After looking over the schedules or Miami and Orlando I will say Orlando.

I am watching Orlando and while D.J Augustin is like Dedmon, low end starter and admirable. If they can clear space and make a run at Kemba, they could be something.

Man, looks like Philly's gonna lose to the two best teams in the EC on consecutive nights.

I'm really impressed by what I've seen of the Nets front office, scouting, coaching and player development.

Kenny and Sean turned things around there much quicker than thought possible. And this guy looks like another solid piece to add to their collection:

Poor Hornets fans.

This franchise needs a re-assessment from top to bottom.

Charlotte coach James Borrego summed up the season succinctly.

"We were one game from the playoffs,'' Borrego said after a loss that had little significance after Detroit's win against the Knicks. "Literally, one game away from the playoffs. Where we are as an organization, we are in a healthy place.''

There is definitely no buzz in Charlotte at all.

Major playoff upset brewing?

NOTE: I REALLY like what they're building up in Brooklyn.

After watching that Nets and Philly game, I see why Sixer fans would trade Ben Simmons for Trae Young straight up. I mean the Hawks would never do that in a 1000 years, but I def see why. Who would have thought that at the beginning of last season?

Things I've learned so far in the playoffs:

1. Another playoffs in which Blake Griffin is injured and unable to help his team.

2. Playoff Lowry in early form - ZERO points

3. Orlando and Brooklyn with the surprise upsets

4. Philly might be in trouble if Embiid is limited. Ben Simmons has an ugly game. He's talented as heck but if he can't fix his game to include a jumpshot, he'll never be as good as he can be.

5. I wish Oladipo wasn't injured for the Celts/Pacers matchup.

6. OKC/PTL - that's gonna be a series: Dame vs Westbrook - they don't like each other much

7. Pop just keeps winning. Denver might be in trouble, their collective playoff inexperience might be an issue.

8. The top teams: Bucks, Warriors, Rockets - showed why they are.

1. The fact that they paraded an obviously injured Griffin out in those last few reg. season games just to eek in ... only to have him unavailable in the playoffs was ... strange.

2. Derozan is like, "Oh y'all thought it was me, huh?"

3. Mmhmm

4. Simmons is a supremely talented but tremendously flawed player. The biggest flaw appears to be that he doesn't think he has any flaws at all. And 6er fans were balking at the thought of trading him for AD? Shiiiii

5. Agree. BOS is ripe for the pickin' but IND (w/o Oladipo) just can't score.

6. Agreed. Plus the Kanter dynamic is interesting. Remember Coach Donovan said, a couple years ago in the playoffs, that Kanter was unplayable for OKC. Now he drops a 20/18 game? Como se dice, revenge?

7. Watching DEN kick the ball around when they were only down 1, then 3 with under a minute left was comical. They ain't ready. Popo is licking his chops.

8. Agreed. MIL-on-DET was like watching the Lion King eat Bambi. :o ... the horror.
