Actually, unlike the last offseason (that was very uneventful), this offseason may get quite interesting. Lotto pick + opt out dates for goran and hassan. The Heat will have minimal cap space even if Goran and Hassan opt out, but at least then we will know next season is going to be a full tank experience.

The plan is to get lucky. Either by a superstar hand picking Miami as their preferred destination for a trade, or some star just deciding that he wants to live and play in Miami and signing here as a free agent, or getting lucky in the draft by having some late blooming superstar fall to us in the draft before he blooms. That's basically it.

Until then we're just trying not to suck.
