At least with Demar, you could say he was being constantly double-teamed, so the rest of the team would be forced to score.

What's Lowry's excuse? He's, at best, our 3rd option and bricked a bunch of wide-open shots.

I didn't understand why some raps fans were being so over confident, yes orlando isn't a great team but they've had stretches of being a top side when they are hot and rolling. If that kind of magic team shows up you are always looking at dropping a game or two at least

People hating on Lowry not understanding 1) he took 7 shots 2) he’s the 5th option in the starting lineup

1) Kawhi
2) Siakam
3) Gasol
4) Green
5) Lowry

And Actually when Vanfleet, Ibaka , Norm are on they even supercede him. He’s our playmaker, facilitator and had a game high +11. He didn’t lose us this game.

I’ll tell you what did - We had a chance to make a 2 for 1 play. Nurse should’ve called a timeout and drew up a play to secure the lead. Instead he let the team play it out, ended up giving Orlando the last shot. Huge mistake, avoidable mistake and cost us the game. Kyle Lowry took several charges, had 8 had some rebounds and once again was +11.

Somewhere Casey watched that game and was smiling. Nurse even looked meek and over matched in the post game press conference.

It’s simply just being unaware.. basing judgement off of a small sample size. They don’t know like Magic fans know cause they don’t watch every game like we do.

It’s simple to look on paper and be like yeah obviously Toronto has the better team but Magic fans have witnessed first hand the effort they put in.

What's up with Leonard only playing 32 minutes and Siakam jacking 24 shots??

Are you kidding me? That guy is earning 31M this year. This is the playoffs, and clearly he forgot to show up. Of course he’s not the only reason they lost, but being the leader of the team, and one with the most playoff experience, he did laid an egg again. If he continues with this performance, you could kiss your chances of resigning kawhi.

Last year John Wall was torching the Raptors in round one and they wound up putting Siakam and OG on him. Then they won the series. I trust Kawhi and Danny Green to slow down the likes of Augustine and Fournier. We'll just have to see I guess.

I'm not sure you can hide Green on Gordon or Isaac if you switch Kawhi onto Augustine. They switched Green into him in the 2nd half and the Magic responded by getting mismatches on their bigs. If Vucevic plays like the All Star he is this wouldn't have even been as close as it was.

Just looking at the box score I was surprised to see Lowry was plus 11 even though he had zero points in the game. That is stats for you.

Vuc didn't play well because Gasol was a giant pain in his ass. I expect that will continue. Raptors are happy to live with Isaac or Gordon trying to attack Lowry or Green in the post. Good luck with that. Nurse waited too long to put Green on DJ. That's how they'll play moving forward.

Kawhi and Siakim had nice lines but the size and athleticism of Gordon and Isaac bothers them. Raps will be fine though. They’ll get those wide open shots again and hit them. Philly on the other hand. Yikes.

He and the bench lineups played pretty well against us.

Lowry competed his ass off. There’s more to the game than just scoring.
