Pure speculation, but I agree with your opinion. The trade lit a fire under him. He was motivated to show that he's not a bust. I heard him do an interview recently in which he essentially said this... he's a good kid though, mad respect 4 him.

SlimShady83 wrote:Ok I have a Question for all you De angelo fans

If he stayed in LAKER uniform

Q) Do you really think he would have reached this kind of potential playing for Lakers YES OR NO?

a lot of players when getting traded OR let loose, start to think, man I gotta step things up or it might keep happening and they use it for motivation ... This IMO is the case for DAR - I doubt that if he stayed in Laker uniform he would be playing ball the way he is now.

I think the Kings are poised to make the playoffs with one sensible addition to go along with what they've got. The pressure is on Luke to not mess with what Joerger created.

Yes. Of course, I’ll be curious if the narrative when he leads the Kings to the playoffs be that he “grew” as a coach and Fox and Hield “took the next step”. Or will the Luke bashers admit that might’ve been wrong about him...

Has anybody kept tabs on Whiteside? Has he really declined this much, or is this on Spoelstra?

Have to consider him if he opts out and the price is right. I'd rather roll the dice on him vs. Cousins.

I'd rather "roll the dice" and bring Bill Cartwright out of retirement than sign Cousins....

#SGA with 18 points in his playoff debut as a ROOOKIE.... Jerry West is very high on this youngster. He is smooth like silk on the court, excellent mid-range jumpshot, 6'6" with a 7' wingspan.

it's so nice to the see the young core getting its feet wet in the #Playoffs.

What a **** ugly game, the Celts are lucky as hell the Pacers absolutely imploded after half time, they're not winning a series against anybody else in the East playing like this.

The Pacers have scored 22 pts in 22 minutes in the 2nd half. Pathetic..

Lowry was a +7 yesterday, he had the highest plus/minus on the Raptors. 0 points in over 30 minutes.

D'Angelo Russell is balling out in Brooklyn. Imagine if he leads the Nets to a series victory over the Sixers, that would be awesome!

The bench won that game for them. He was -10 in a 9 point win. Dinwiddie and LeVert were the guys that pushed them to the lead. While he played well and they won it was the difference in the benches that ended up being the difference in the game. Carroll was the only starter with a positive ± for example. He did hit a couple shots that stopped Sixer runs in the 4th.

The thing that stood out in the game was the lack of energy on the Sixers sideline. Tons of talent but no one to lead that group.

8 points and 2 FGs in the 3rd Q, one of which was on a goaltending call. I don't even know how that team made it to the playoffs, let alone as a top 5 seed.

No man, he has to take a team on his back, or co-star w/someone besides Steph & Klay in GSW. His biggest motivation to bolt from the Warriors this Summer is to strengthen his legacy.

We have a chance to land him in Lakerland. He can be "that guy who got Lebron over the hump" after he missed the playoffs. It's kind of a long shot that we get him.

I just want Warriors to get knocked off in the playoffs, so wanna see HOU sweep the Jazz and take on Warriors while they fresh..

Just noticed that! So he is a little bit young to get into the #GOAT conversation. Doesn't have the stats that you need to hold up and say "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M THE GREATEST IN THIS CATEGORY AND THAT CATEGORY..SO I MUST BE THE GOAT!"

I think you need some of that to be considered the greatest player of all time. Take Bron for example, the only guy to be top ten assists and points, then he's coming up to a possible top ten in steals. Haters wanna say "oh that doesnt' matter..." LOL!

Ask a question about LA culture and I can give you a good answer, since i'm an LA native.

D'Angelo balling out once again, getting his feet wet in Playoffs. So good to see these young core players.

I was way back at the start of the season, but only on the cheap. Then I saw him vs Lakers and thought his still a child - <> no need for that we already have one child on this team ( guess LOL) we don't need two. And now after his injury - it's a HELL NO unless it's like on the cheap and I mean cheap like - free taco cheap LOL

KD is in the Tim Duncan tier of greatness... Until you hear TD's name in the GOAT discussion (you won't), I don't think you can start talking about KD in that same conversation.

No, simply because he cowared his way to GS after he got beat in OKC, that’s not GOAT behavior by any stretch.
