Wow, the most anti climactic draft ever. Just a horrible show all around.

Cedric Alexander is coming to raw though!!

And Rey mysterio!!!

And Naomi!!!

Can probably count on my hands the amount of apperences they make over the next year combined.

The usos? Whatever.

Miz, yea sure I guess. He was better on smackdown.

AJ. He's been underwhelming lately as mentioned.

Andrade would be good if they'd do anything with him.

Does this mean ec 3 will be standing in the background on raw? I'm confused.

Laceys promo and match was literally the only thing that wasn't **** awful although it had Natty on the other side so it's capped out at pretty brutal no matter what.

The viking experience... I mean... What in the actual ****... At least soon they'll just be experience.

How do you take one of your most interesting shows of the year and literally turn it into one of the worst? Like, you can't even write it that badly I wouldn't think...

Actually liking the edgy Miz.

Surprised no one mentioning the random Eric Young swap, lol

AJ needed a change of scenery, so I'm pretty happy with his transfer to Raw.
The Usos seems logical as well. They've dominated the Smackdown tag team division for years and now they bring some new life in the Raw division.

Andrade is gold. Hopefully they do something big with him.

Lacey Evans is cool. Fantastic finisher. Let her squash some other boring women in the division.

I thinks thats a tad harsh, i hardly think either are phoning it in, with Seth, he's never been the same since he came back from injury and AJ is old (he's like 42 now), he was never going to keep up the level he had coming in (the only 42 year old who is absolutely at the top of his game in the entire world is Tomohiro Ishii and he's a brawler and doesn't work 300 nights a year).

I mean even WWE jobber purgatory is better than ROH to be fair (though in all honesty, he'll be back in Impact or at AEW by years end, i'm calling it now).

AEW was mentioned two times since the last time I checked the forums yesterday morning, lol.

Anyways, Raw was okay.

I love The Miz coming back to Raw, I never thought he'd ever get over as a face as he's such a natural heel that everyone loves to hate...but dude is pulling it off. Just shows you how talented he really is.

So this appears that Ricochet and Black will be on Raw, unless they pull a swerve and show up tonight on SmackDown...I think this would be a good time to have just one of them appear on SmackDown, but if not I'm still okay with them being a tag team. They need to call themselves the Goth n Jock Connection. The name sells itsels.

Imagine being one of the hottest tag teams on the indies, War Machine. Such a great name. Then you get to WWE and they're like...You are gonna be called The War Raiders...eh, okay. Close enough. You go on to have a great face run in NXT (from all the matches I've seen of them, which has literally been just the Takeovers, they've been baby faces), I believe are the current tag champs too, yeah? And then you get the phone call. Boys, you've been called up to the main roster. And you see Vince, with his stupid grin...Welcome to Raw, you are now Ivar and Erik, The Viking Experience. You know damn well Vince doesn't really know who you are, so you just take that Dusty Rhodes L and make the best of what you're given.

Now, a lot of people are confused by the name, sure...it sucks. It's not good at all. But reading a little into both Rowe and Hanson, Rowe, who was recently married to Sarah Logan, actually LOVE vikings. They had a viking themed wedding actually. So it's not entirely out of left field to be called The Viking Experience...it's just a stupid @ss name that actually sucks. But with how talented those dudes are, they'll be fine. They'll be more successful than Heavy Machinery in my opinion.

Anyways, tag match was okay. I don't like champs losing in non-title matches, so this entire match was just odd in my opinion.

With Andrade coming to Raw and challenging Finn...Again, I don't like champs losing in non-title matches, it's dumb. I get that Andrade needs a good big win, but have him get the win over someone else to make his impact. Hopefully this feud goes on a little bit, it could be super interesting with how good of workers these two are. Should help bring legitimacy back to the mid card.

I'm not sure if I'm getting bored of Elias or what. I wish they'd actually use the guy as a wrestler and not a beating tool for others. Rey coming to Raw is kind of neat. And I think Cole was yelling about Lars Sullivan being on the Raw roster? I tune him out a lot of times. Raw needs a new voice. Cole is turning into booty. Well, not turning into...he's been booty for awhile.

Roode/Gable v the Usos was fine. Was really hoping to see the Roode heel turn with Gable picking up the loss, but not yet. Bring Roode back to his NXT days of an arrogant heel. He excelled at that greatly. It'll be interesting to see The Usos on Raw now. They're one of the best tag teams in WWE history. So much fun to watch. I'm actually surprised Vince hasn't broken them up yet.

Sami is such a great heel tbh. To get a crowd to cheer and love you so much and then to have them turn on you in an instant...fantastic. I love it. Please put the title on him Vince. The dude is money on the mic and in the ring. He could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. Dude is the total package.

The IIconics losing to Bayley and Naomi...ugh....no. Stop Vince. What are you doing? F*ck if anyone knows. You don't have your champs lose constantly, looking like idiots. Just not good booking at all. As the new champs, they need to look strong, not like they won the titles by accident. As Chris Jericho would say, you stupid idiot.

I totally missed what happened to EC3. I was getting the kids ready for bed. Is it just me, or is EC3's entrance bit, where he's looking at the tron and "directing" the E, C, and 3 to come up...kind of lame? I dunno, for whatever reason, I don't like it. But when I came out from the bedroom, all I saw was Braun standing at the top of the ramp with EC3 barely visible, almost like when Taker chokeslammed Hassan and we never saw him again. Shame really, I think he'd be great as a stable member.

Becky v Ruby...finally Vince got something right. Though I don't like it being against Ruby Riott, maybe if it was against one of the other members of the squad, it'd be better. But you can't have the leader of the group looking weak like that. Meh, whatever. At least the champ didn't get pinned in this match.

I missed the Natty segment that people are complaining about and only caught the last bit of the match with Lacey Evans, but from what I could see, she looked pretty decent in the ring. So hopefully the feud between Evans and Lynch is decent.

It's nice to see AJ on Raw finally. I know they kept billing SmackDown Live as the house that AJ Styles built, but there isn't anything else for him to do there. With Finn on the brand, maybe they create the big new stable that we're all dying to see, but knowing Vince...He'll finally put AJ and Finn together, and then put in a tag team that we aren't expecting, like Ryder and Hawkins instead of The Good Brothers. I could see him doing that as a big FU to the fans, lol. But I'm excited to see what Styles will do on Raw, he was getting a bit stale on SmackDown.

They need to move Roman to SmackDown Live, that'd be cool. Get him away from Seth because I'm so sick of hearing any sort of mention of the Shield. They are beating that dead horse into the f*cking ground. Jeez.

Two big issues with the name "War Machine."

1. Marvel
2. Jon Koppenhaver aka War Marchine, almost killed his pornstar ex-girlfriend and her lover and IIRC is currently in the clink.

Ah, good call on that. Totally forgot about that. They were War Machine on the indies/NJPW I believe.

"Viking Experience" would be a fine name if they were going to come in and be kid-friendly goofballs, but I don't think that's the plan, and those roles are already filled on RAW (at least for now) by Heavy Machinery.

So in that light, the name remains stupid. Just call them "The Marauders" or something.

Thumbs-up for bringing over AJ and the Usos, talented guys who need some new competition. Didn't really much care about the rest.

Agree with all who complained about Nattie, she is absolutely horrendous. Completely robotic & wooden on the mic, she talks as if she's reading off a script or teleprompter, not to mention her facial expressions are terrible as well. She really needs to go, her family lineage is all that's keeping her there.

Sami Zayn was Raw's MVP hands down. This is why I said in the other thread he and the likes of KO are way better than Gargano. Yes its Montreal and its a unique circumstance, but these 2 guys ooze charisma and can go in the ring, not many guys on the roster can excel at both.

As for EC3, he deserves better and I'm sure he wishes he could rethink that choice. But now that AJ, Roode, and Eric Young (split from Sanity) are all on the same brand, I think the 4 of them can make a solid stable of former Impact guys. Have Roode turn on Gable, then AJ eventually turn heel going into a feud with Rollins for the title at SummerSlam.

I think you're being generous. The name is a burden, as are their new individual names, which no one has mentioned.

Could be a sponsor or network thing too maybe? Outlawing the word "war" for some reason?

By the way, I love that Meltzer got **** on for reporting that Rousey was going to be leaving WWE to have a baby after Wrestlemania, only to have Rousey confirm she's leaving WWE to have a baby a few days after Wrestlemania.

Maybe it is a bit harsh, but AJ really does seem to just be going through the motions. He's still good, but he's rarely great any more. I agree that Seth hasn't been the same since his injury, but it's really hard to tell with these guys if it's a lack of ability to be as good as they used to or just their acceptance that it doesn't really matter how good they are in the ring since the guy booking the show hates wrestling, so why kill yourself to put on classics?
