The reason I was wrong about Dustin, I think, is because he's completely bucked the trend of the last 5 years, where you have to be either, 1) a legit wrestler w/ pace or 2) a striker with crazy advantage in terms of length and proportion. There really aren't too many recent fighters who haven't been 1 of those 2. And Dustin has neither. He has an average build, has no distant background in wrestling or a TMA, he's just a really tough guy who has developed into a well-rounded fighter. It's all the more credit to him, really. He wasn't wrestling bears or an Olympian, he doesn't exploit a reach advantage or some crazy bladed stance. He's just somehow hangs in there and advances.

That knee that cut Max costed him the fight, Poirer stole that round and otherwise Max would have out-pointed him imo.
