Game 1 was another "Nuggets can't hit the backboard night" - fortunately those don't come every night. The Nuggets' defense was actually fairly solid, especially on Aldridge & DeRozan. The Nuggets certainly need to attack the basket more.

I certainly expect a win and not just by a little - expecting 15 point win.

Same here! Spurs are actually bad team on the road, they are just lucky we didn't play defense in 1st half of game one, and whole game have big problem with threes.

So far game two is the copycat of game one. Tied game after 10 minutes, but then Malone puts his 4-guards rotation, and 3-4 minutes are enough for Pop and Spurs to take double digit advantage. After 15 minutes only one single player scored more than 2 points. Malone is genius!

Barton is such a selfish trash, he's the single reason why Nuggets are playing crappy basketball since he returned from an injury. On every single position he continues to ignore Jokic, its so obvious , every game since his return and Malone can't see that Bench that knucklehead ,Craig is more useful than him.

I just hope Murray's game has matured for the rest of the playoffs, my heart can't take this kinda **** much more

If we lose this one, we would be swept by Spurs, and of course, Malone would be one to be blamed for such disgrace. But now we won, so credit to Malone for what he did in the 4th quarter unusually for him:
- shot down Barton
- gives Jokic 39 minutes playing time
- "believe in your star" (Murray in this case)
- no toxic 4-guards rotation in the 4th

In last two seasons Spurs are so many times out of gas on the road, and Nuggets when playing their game are so good at home, so I really never lose faith in our chances to overturn game, even at -19 in 3rd. But we have very hard job now to back break. Spurs are way better team in San Antonio, than on the road.

Bench Barton before it's too late. Murray's not gonna save the team every time like this. They're giving Barton open 3 balls and he's not making any. Put Beasley in there or heck even Craig will knock down some, even if he doesn't he gives you defense on DeRozan.

Malone basically went with five guards & three bigs (Barton is truly a guard). 7 of those 8 are definitely our best players. Not sure we have an 8th player we can rely on.

Impressive Murray´s last quarter, so much needed momemtum. He is going to be a star, no doubts. I would also like to praise Gary Harris,I was not expecting anything from him during play offs after such a tough season, but he has been our most consistent player so far.

I do think the way the team came back after second 19point disadvantage is going to be a huge boost for their mentality and confidence in the next games.

Regarding Barton...I don´t like booing our own players during a game, but the guy is not helping the team at all.It has been commented here hundred times already, bring him off the bench 20 minutes.

Murray took a lot of heat after game one - rightfully so.
He had 3/4 of a bad game in game two - but everyone seems to forgive him based on 4th quarter.

As has been said, he's still just 22 years old and inconsistent - but Jokic's inconsistent too, so is Millsap, so is Harris, etc. The Nuggets have not yet developed any players such as Aldridge & DeRozan that are pretty consistent.

Jokic was good last night. Murray took over in 4th.

If anyone asks what Millsap brings to the table, you saw it last night. I love him, not with 30m sallary, but as a player, he is great. Post machine, no one on the Spurs cant guard him, no one has that foot speed. Harris was great also, defense, offense.

Barton... I love him but this needs to stop. Just start Beasley over him and play the kid 30-35 minutes per game. Barton will be good spark off the bench with 20-25 minutes and thats it. Malone needs to talk with him that this is about team now, this is about W's.
