I'm almost ashamed at the thought of how many times I'm gonna watch this in it's entirety

thats a must watch clearly.

Absolutely.

I'm going to watch it more than once. I could only watch the beginning.

I can't articulate it, but Mitch just looked better at the end of the year. And he looked good when given an opportunity, early. It's subtle, but it's there. He obviously progressed.

this draft was pretty good. Knox struggled like i thought he would, but iso zo and mitch were excellent draft picks.

Had a dream that Mitch made it to the All-NBA Rookie First Team.

he parted ways with marcel scott around all-star break. dude is NO-based and moved up to NY just to work with mitch. they're working together some this summer, so i don't think it was anything animosity-related. probably was a temporary arrangement to give a young buck some stability.

Thanks Gully. Seems like no big deal. I just didn't want him to sever ties with AD :D

nope. the three of them will work out in the summer.

how crazy would it be for the knicks to put kyrie, KD, AD, and money mitch together?! even if it cost zion and the rest of the roster... hmmmmm...

Mitch is on his 4th or 5th agent right now and doesn't yet have a trainer lined up via his latest agent. He'll work out with Scott but it seems like a one time thing.

It's a little concerning Mitch has had all these agents, but on the other hand he says he doesn't really care about much else in life but fishing for bass and playing basketball, so that bodes well. :-)

mitch seems pretty indecisive. it's true.

but i don't know if the marcel scott situation had to do with that. was marcel scott going to leave his life and work (including anthony davis) behind just to work with mitch and whoever else he could find in NY?

mitch needs to settle on something and find some stability. everything has been a bit of a crazy whirlwind for him since leaving college.

Like anything else it could be alot better. Its not to say his trainer sucks but you wanna get to the next step then sometimes you need an upgrade. And in my opinion he could be so much more. His body hasn't even filled out yet and its not a bad thing to have the best in the business guiding that transition....if that's what he's doing. If hes hiring his cousin then all bets are off lol.

But in any case I'll say that Deandre Jordan is the best trainer Robinson can have and even if we lose him I hope they keep up thier friendship and mentorship. To me that's where the results came from. He was a gimmick before DeAndre. Blocked shots but fouled just as much. I feel like he got bigger in- season. Smarter in-season. He developed pretty quickly. But there's more to go.

I look at that comparison chart and it makes jarret look like crap even though in reality he's a damn good roleplayer...but that just means Mitch is something special.

It's interesting because I'm not sure that Allen shows a lot on O. He has potential there and I like him, but so does Mitch. Definitely see more of Allen's offense but he's certainly not yet very developed there either.

jarrett allen is just not that athletic and that limits his ceiling. he’s fine but not a top 1% guy like mitch.

mitch defensive stats kind of bonkers when you think about the imprvement over summer league.
