I think Kyrie's talks about the playoffs is him trying to be a big person and move on from his mistakes during the regular season. he specifically mentions that everything from the regular season, including its drama, goes out the window now. It feels like he's willing to take responsibility and just move forward,

cool.....I find it laughable that Kyrie would leave. He has given no indication that he intends to leave and there is quite a lot to suggest that he will stay

It's not laughable, nor is it likely. It's completely up in the air at the moment. I think he wants to literally wait until the summer, and weigh all his options and meet with teams. He also knows this Celtics team can change, as can other rosters, so it's too early to know what his best situation is. But I do believe he enjoys playing in Boston even if he looks miserable 90% of the time.

But the most telling quote by Kyrie came after he backtracked his "plans to resign". When asked why he made that statement before the season, he said he was caught up in the excitement of the season, the emotion, and was pretty much saying it to appease the fans (in not so many words).

I guess we have different interpretations of that interview. which is okay. If anything I feel like he doubled down on his commitment to Boston. I see both sides though

Well he's going to have to otherwise he might have a mental breakdown in NYC. If he thinks the media here sucks he's in for a huge surprise next year.

Doubled down on his commitment? Interesting. I would consider doubling down as repeating exactly what he said prior to the season.. rather than talking in circles. But regardless, I hope you’re right because he’s the talent we need here long term.

I guesss for me I took the "ask me July 1st" as in "you don't believe me? I guess you will find out July 1st." Thats with the context that he was talking to a New York reporter. That's how it came off to me but I fully respect those who saw it different

I took that as "you are annoying, you are stupid, you are annoying stupid robots trying to get a reaction out of me, and you annoy me. I cannot officially make a decision until July 1, so why are we even talking about this now? You are a stupid annoying sheep"

Afam may have called it if Kyrie does indeed stay.

The GOAT didn't show the same love for The Kelly Olynyk after he went off on the Wizards in ECF Game 7. And those two even have history together.

Hey, it could still happen--KO's only one year from being able to pass on a measly $13M option. Didn't Brad say something about KO being able to play for him any time?

Ah yes. The endless summer. I believe I posted in all 999 "All purpose Love Durant" threads.

And of course, the first tweet is from Pogue.
