I was thinking the same thing. Seems like I havent seen a 3 point attempt in minutes, as opposed to just back and forth attempt after attempt that's so prevalent these days.

Denver 18 3s (made 9 of them) on 62 shots
SA 15 3s on 65 shots

I won't lie its a nice refreshing change. And its not like its ugly offense either. You get great cutting and passing from Denver and you got some mid range maestros with DeMar and Aldridge. This has been an enjoyable series so far.

Plumlee has been great so far today.

I must have missed it but he is getting outrebounded by anybody and attacked so easily on defense.

Funny to hear that a PG is a team's defensive anchor, but it's true. I became a fan of him when I attended a Clippers and Spurs game. The guy left his imprint on every single defensive possession. He never made any obvious plays like a fastbreak steal, but he made it that much harder for the Clippers to run their offense with little smart plays that added up.

Love watching him play.

This is the "**** analytics" series, not that I'm complaining

Dirty play by Poertl. If you make the call on Millsap you have to make that call.

That might be the weakest push I've ever seen by Murray

So why didn't Murray get a T there?

Poetl literally just stood there. Murray tripped over him since he wasn't looking

Because they couldn’t live with themselves if Murray got the foul for Poertl’s moving screen.

No. He very clearly moved his leg to trip Murray.

It was crystal clear on the replay that he moved his leg into him when he was running by. And yes, that’s a dangerous and dirty play on a blind screen.

I'd like to see a replay, but I sure thought Poertl moved his foot out as Murray went by him.
