Fournier sucks.

Yea but Magic are being killed by Siakam and Leonard and only reason why we keep forcing 2 PFs is because they are allegedly elite defenders, and him being wracked by Siakam and Leonard defeats whole purpose of their (co)existence.
Guards are utter trash but that's nothing new, and again it ties with Magic Gordon- Isaac problem ,as team has nobody on guard or wing position to handle ball and be secundary ballhandlers.
Those guys are defending them almost as well as you can. Kawhi' shooting 27% tonight. And Isaac has been doing great cover defense cleaning up rotations for others. They anchor the defense.
That means you've got 3 other positions for players to be those scorers we need and none of Vuc, Fournier or DJ are consistently stepping up to fill that void.
All i'm saying is that it's clear as a day that Gordon and Isaac aren't best fits next to each other.
But we all knew that year and half ago.
As for keeping Leonard off, up until tonight he averaged 31 ppg on 64% FG in first two.... Now we finally decided to double team him
Don't be daft. You saw the last game. Nobody was stopping Kawhi that night. Gordon hasn't given him many easy buckets all series.
Isaac and Gordon are great fits next to each other. Vuc, Fournier and DJ aren't cut out to carry a team over the top of that.

Not playing offense/defense with Isaac on Siakam is pathetic...

Clifford's rotations in the 2nd half were terrible. He needs to take some blame for this which I hate to give but no reason that Isaac should sit the pine for Evan Fournier who hurt us on both ends.

You legit can't put into words how horrendously bad Fournier was tonight.
1-12 shooting with more turnovers than assists and some of the worst defense, both on and off the ball, of the season.

We can't put this entire game on one horribly lost rebound.
Our game plan and execution should have been better.
And yet, our young team did really well. We didn't get blown out.
Next year I expect we'll go down a notch as our youngest get more playing time.
But then the year after... beware, bitches.

Tough loss. As terrible as we were on offense the fact we were in the game is a miracle. I def need an explanation on why Isaac wasn't in the game while Siakam was going Wilt on us. Evan was awful so him being in gave us nothing

Yep, we don't have that margin for error at all.
On a positive note, Isaac looked like a future beast and Gordon has shown that he has another gear that he can go to on defense (when called upon) during this series.

This series is just cementing for me you build around AG and Isaac. I just love what they bring, but you need playmaking and shooting at the 1 and 2. I've been done with Fournier for a while, but the combination of his shooting, 'buddy ball' offense and just flat out TERRIBLE defense ... it's a killer
I still believe in Magic! Welcome to the Franz & Paolo era

Fournier should be questioning his basketball career right now.

Re: Playoffs G3: Toronto Raptors (2) @ Orlando Magic (7) - A Reptile Dysfunction
Toronto is an extremely tough matchup for us. Our 1-2-3's are really inconsistent, going against the Raps who arguably have the best defense in the league at those positions.
That's why I'm pissed Giannis sat out against Brooklyn instead of the next night vs the more more winnable Hawks game. We couldve matched up with Philly... **** you Giannis!

a literal masterpiece of one-on-one defense. if i was gordon i probably would've went upside augustine's head for giving up the rebound after forcing a leonard miss.

Re: Playoffs G3: Toronto Raptors (2) @ Orlando Magic (7) - A Reptile Dysfunction
A lot of Raptors fans really seem to think the refs were against them in this game and all series long. i know we're all biased, but wow. Like the NBA wants the Magic to win? lol. Nobody cares about the Magic, even as an underdog story. Leonard as an individual is more compelling to casuals than the Magic team.
But anyway, Fournier can go to heck. 1-12 with multiple game losing defensive lapses. Give me a break. Actually, just give me an NBA caliber filler player at that position. Iwundu was 1-5 but I like his play a lot better.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.
