Adam Jones cuts the lead in half, with a 2 out solo HR to LF. Gausman with 6 Ks in 4 IP so far. 2-1 Braves end of the 4th

Back to back nights the bullpen blew it. We have a bunch of scrubs in the pen with no true closer. Management is worried about the 60th pick in a Kimbrel signing, but have no problem paying O'Day $9 mill to be injured. Bullpen was a problem last year and management did nothing to improve it.

We should have won this series based on our starting pitching and offense.

Change obviously needs to occur. It's going to be a wasted season if it doesn't happen. I see why Vegas had us projected to finish third in our division before the season started.....The Bullpen.

Day game, Weaver vs Soroka 12:10 PM ET

Soroka returns from 2018 injury to make his 2019 debut. I'll have to keep away from ESPN this afternoon, so I can watch the game later on MLB.TV.

D'backs get the sweep, winning 4-1. They had a 1-0 lead in the 7th, before Sobotka allowed 3 runs. Braves only run was a Freeman solo HR in the 8th. Without Sobotka sucking, it's a 1-1 game going into the 9th.

I thought it was going to be a disasterous 1st for Teheran when his 1st 2 pitches were 87 and 88 MPH fastballs, and he gave up a run and loaded the bases with 1 out, but his fastball gradually got better at his pitch count went up, and he struck out the last batter on 2 straight 92 MPH fastballs. Tough inning, but it ended on a good sign.
