Our D is insane with Gasol

If raps beat sixers. Gasol will be the difference. Gasol has handled embiid well every time they played. Plus gasol doesn’t even need to score anymore.

Sixers will lose in 5.

Unless the Harris/butler/Simmons can step it up if gasol neutralizes embiid.

Wouldn't be surprised if Gasol gets a few ticky tacky fouls early. I'm sure he can handle Embiid fairly well, but Philly getting to the line will be tough.

Gasol is gonna be inspired in the 2nd round. This will be his time to unleash

If the officiating trend continues, we don't stand a chance.

Raps dead last out of all playoff teams in FT attempts, despite being aggressive and attempting a ton of shots at the rim. Philly #1 out of all PO teams in attempts.

No way we win if that continues. Philly is too good for the raps to overcome that kind of whistle.

I think it depends more on who the officials are. Tony Brothers will officiate against the Raps. I thought the first halves of games 2 and 3 were the worst. Here in game 4 the officials have been in Toronto's favour if anything.

It has been better, no doubt, but things regressed again in the second half.

I'll say that the officials missed calls that should have gone Orlando's way as well. The Gasol hack on the Vuc dunk attempt stands out.

Augustine won them a game, but man that’s a couple of big holes in your starting lineup with him and Fournier. They need to upgrade there, Issac needs to get ALOT better offensively as well. Gordon also needs to take a step forward into a semi max contract type of talent.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Gasol has definitely been an x factor out there shutting down Vucevic. Kawhi Leonard besides his flu game has looked like the best player in the entire playoffs.

This series is over. Gasol vs Embiid and Kawhi vs Butler will be a very exciting series.

The nets have no one over 6 foot 9 (I’m not counting allen’s 2-3 inch Afro). He’s 6 9. They have no bigs to even bother embiid or even boban.

Honestly the talent difference between seeds 1-4 vs the 5-8 seeds is so huge. It’s hard to take anything away from the first round.

Bucks will win 4-0. Boston already won 4-0.

Looks like barring some weird things happening. Raptors and sixers will win 4-1.

So I can’t really predict how the second round will to.

I like the way Boston is playing. But bucks look scary good to me.

My sixers are bipolar. They play good. Than bad. I don’t follow raptors a lot. But k Leonard makes Ben Simmons look like a fool. Gasol can neutralize embiid. Raptors much better bench. But Lowry is so unpredictable in playoffs. Good Lowry vs bad Lowry. So sixers had better hope jimmy butler bails them out or Harris continues playing well.

It's crazy cuz there looks to be another realgm rivalry brewing as well with ur Celtic fans and bucks fans.
Round 2 is gonna be crazy (barring any upsets) basketball wise and realgm wise

I think both fan bases think the other team is overrated for Boston/Milwaukee lol. I’m very interested to see what Vegas posts it as...I’m guessing -300 for Milwaukee?
Either way, fans of the top 4 teams in the east are in for a wild one.
Side note: I can't even imagine how a Celtic fan could go about deciding who to cheer for if a raps and Philly series happens. It would prolly be decided by who u hate less? Lol

I know it's garbage minutes, but he turned the ball over like 3 times. They mercifully gave one to Meeks.

Has been their main guy the last 3 years and exposed being not a true star. You may be right that he is okay as part of the core, maybe best as the 2A or 2B kind of guy.

Issac struggled offensively throughout his career which is why I never view him highly despite his defensive capabilities.
Although Im a Bulls fan, I value two way players very high than most guys but Issac only has long term potential at this point.
Rather take elite offensive talent in Markkenen over him as the better player going forward.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

I know Vuc isn't Embiid...but I'm curious to see how Gasol guards Embiid. Who owns property in who's head?

Gasol has been a huge reason for Vuc's struggles but Vuc is also a mental midget and can't get passed getting owned. Even when Gasol isn't in the game, he's standing flatfooted on rebounds and watching Ibaka own him. Then when he gets lucky and gets a guard switched onto him, he rushes his move and misses point blank shots. Vuc is shook.

The Magic are frauds. Complete fluke of a Game 1. Absolutely the worst offensive team of all the 16 teams in the playoffs.
