will mo cheeks be any better?

You think they are going to promote from within?

meh. i don't think sam would stray far from his coaching archetype. then again, he's traded for carmelo and schroder in consecutive years and picked up markieff morris so who knows. cheeks would be an easy choice.

You know who's perfect for this as a coach?

Imagine the storylines.

"From triple double point guard to triple double point guard: How Jason Kidd plans to unlock Russell Westbrook"
"How Sam Presti entrusts one of the best floor generals ever to innovate Oklahoma City's offense"
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

tbh i don't think kidd would be a bad replacement. at least he would have nba chops behind him and presumably would have the team's respect and ear from the get-go. but i'm just not sure he isn't a destructive coach. his handling of the bucks roster reminded me a lot of mark jackson warriors.

One of the "player insider" types was dropping hints about Monty having an inside track. But I never know how much to believe from those guys.

He could be Presti's replacement. Since he aquired the same kind of washed up scrubs that can't shoot that Presti likes as late in the season additions, he wouldn't stir up too much stuff.

Mark Jackson would be another excellent addition. The franchise could cut costs beause Jackson would also do the pre game prayer. With the man Jesus on our side, may it do ya fine*, we would be unbeatable.

*Yes, this is a The Dark Tower reference.

If we want them to stop taking jumpers, we should hire this NBA legend:

"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

What a bad end of the season. Sarcasticly choosing our next coach, in brink of elimination.

Bring on the October of 2019, ffs ...

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
