Playoff Al!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny we don't hear about average Al anymore. Or how he gets paid too much.

A bunch of talk radio morons thought Enes Kanter was better because he rebounds better.

Al is a terrific basketball player. Very high-level player who is not a 10 at any skill, but is an eight at almost everything that matters in basketball.

He can defend, pass, block shots, switch, shoot the 3, post up. He also sets screens and doesn't need the ball to be effective. Just an absolutely splendid basketball player.

There's a reason that his teams always go deep in the playoffs from the Hawks to the Celtics. If we get on CP3s playoff record as a negative, Al's has to be positive.

Actually you still do if you catch any of The Corey's posts FWIW.

Yeah, they won their last game in Boston by 13, but sure. You guys are hilarious with the overconfidence. This is not the 17-18 Sixers team.

Oh well, you're free to think what you like. It will have no bearing on the outcome.

Uhm youre the one coming in our house telling we’re overconfident and stuff. Why would you even bother? It’s just the same as the ‘we want Boston’ shouting. Dont get too overconfident either bro.

I just got to say one thing. Terry Rozier has been a gem this postseason. You were right, he is battle tested. I been ragging on Terry and Jaylen all year and now I am loving those two.

The thing is though, when Terry steps it up this team just runs smoother. My goodness did he have some rough times in the regular season. It was down right WTF worthy. He NEEDS to continue doing what he has been doing this postseason and if he does he will be an X factor since he feels teams like the Bucks and Sixers are his enemy.

I just think our guys aren't at all intimidated by this Bucks team, and that might give us some competitive edge. Sure, they added Brook and a more celebrated coach, but this is essentially the same team that lost to a team missing two of it's best players. And I hope our guys take pride in that and rub it in their faces every game. Rozier is just a guy who steps it up in big situations. I have unwavering confidence in his unwavering confidence lol.

Essentially the same team???? The team is radically different this year whether you are talking roster, offensive and defensive strategy, strengths and weaknesses, etc

Bucks closing line up will always consist on Drew Bled, Khris Jordan, Brogdon and Giannis + 1..that's pretty much the same team the baby Celtics took behind a barn last year. Couldn't even handle Rozier..lol

Brogdon might not play in game 1, it seems....

At the very earliest, it’s going to be a week from today.

This is going to be a super long boring period of time for both Celtics and Bucks fans. At least the NFL draft will keep both fan bases somewhat entertained.

These bucks fans are so desperate to be validated.....you think after being trash for so many years they would take success and be humble with it. Instead I see posts how they can beat golden state, how they are a players best chance to win in free agency when we have haven’t even played round 2 and even a destination for KD and kawhi

When your confident in how great your team really is you don’t need to respond to everyone who says a series will be hard or that you may lose, you just let the games begin and let your team do the talking. Seems like if you even have an opinion that the bucks can lose or that the overall season record really doesn’t carry all that much weight-your hating.

Can’t wait.

Not the same coach though, which is a pretty big difference.

I have to admit that I am cringing at thought of watching a Lopez brother for what could be a 7 game series. That crazy eyed home schooled stare they have freaks me out.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Yeah when the time comes just pop him in there and tell him to guard Kyrie. Lol

I'm not trying to be an ass towards the Bucks. They did great things this year, great team, MVP, COY. Just feel Boston has enough to compete.

We'll have Jay Larranaga take care of BroLo, no problem. Like many have said, we match up well against this Bucks team.

I dont understand why the Bucks fans feel the need to come on our board to claim they are superb. I dont see the need to do that, never have, never will. I felt like when we were rising we were a lot more humble than Bucks, Sixers fans.

Lol, this is what Raptors fans have said every year for the past 3 years preceding this too.

Return to Boston Celtics
