Re: Igor Kokoskov fired
Can't wait for the game of zones episode where Sarver is the Mad King yelling "burn them all" about his people. We really need a kingslayer to stick a knife in him.
Oh and I'm confused as to why I should be excited about Monty Williams if that's the route they go... he wasn't exactly good with the Pels.
I'm pretty much expecting this offseason to be awful at this point.

Terry Porter
Alvin Gentry
Hornacek
Lindsay Hunter
Earl Watson
Jay Triano
Igor Kokoskov
all cheap coaches
Amin is right - Sarver makes a good point, will Sarver pay for a guy like Monty Williams
Amin is on with Dough and Wolf and he hits the nail on the head: Sarver just can't stay away. He has to be involved.
Matt Barnes tweeted its the owner - not the players. Players around the league know.
Amin did make the point that maybe if Sarver pays Monty Williams enough - he may not fire him so quickly as so much is left on the books

Sarver should have done this at the end of the season while the Magic Johnson **** was still all over the news.

They are going to get the first pick and not trade down for Ja Morant but draft Ja Morant
in Free Agency - they will sign Terry Rozier and maybe a PF like Julius Randle - who doesn't fit alongside Ayton
what else will they do?

Hate this news for the Suns, but I really don't understand the Monty Williams rumors. He wasn't particularly good with the NOH and the only reason I can think of that he's even in the discussion is he was Bower's head coach. Knowing Sarver though Bower will get to fire him for the 2nd time next year....

of course, Jason Kidd will be the head coach
Gambo mentioned his name two weeks ago when Jorger was fired and he said "Luke or Joerger would not be candidates if Igor is fired."
and of course, Gambo said Kidd. Jason must pay him to keep his name in the news.

The suns are so far into crazy town that they are capable of bad moves that are so horrible that rational folks like us can even conceptualize.BobbieL wrote:WeekapaugGroove wrote:Can't wait for the game of zones episode where Sarver is the Mad King yelling "burn them all" about his people. I guess I need to be patient with James Jones as he did get the Tyler for Ryan trade -- correct. I was totally wrong
End of the day, the Oubre trade seemed positive
Just with Sarver in teh building , I have ZERO faith. Jones can do five good things but if SArver has bad corn flakes for Breakfast, it all goes to hell in a hand basket.
If the Suns do get Monty Williams - I think that is a solid hire. I thought of him last year. But to your point, yes, Suns fans are to the point of imagining crap happening and its almost realistic; I can see the Suns getting the first pick and not leveraging Zion to get Morant.

This is some gibberish, I'm honestly not even sure what he's trying to get at here.

When Igor was hired, Ryan Anderson was not on the team
Ariza was not on the team
I am sure its tweets like this is why I was blocked. I called his a88 out on it this crap.

Or they could have just **** selected the generational talent that had already had success with Igor.... but that would have made too much sense. Seriously this franchise is so **** dumb.darmani wrote:

I do expect this move was made because certain key player(s) flamed Igor on their exit interviews. But that might tell you more about those players than Igor IMO.

If they want a developer of talent, I can see Josh Jackson possibly staying. I can see them drafting Ja Morant. And I can see this being two more years of "development".
I say if you get Monty in the room - pay him and sign him . Don't jerk around interview a bunch of assistants. Just get this guy - overpay.
